  1. Hey All, last night I managed to snap the Axle in my bottom bracket looks funny with both pedals hanging down. (I will post a pic later on bicyclegod) Un-impressed to have to leave the park on a nice sunny evening , as you can imagine. Anyway. So, I now have a number of things I need to know and understand - to sort out - before I can get back on my bike. The bike BTW is an Onza T-Raptor LE, It is doing a great job of allowing me get back into riding after a ten year abscence. .. .. .. .. .. .. ... ... ... ... ... .... .... ..... ..... ...... ...... ........... Anyhow my questions is around bottom bracket sizing. Can anyone tell me - if I can repalce the axle in the bottom bracket. And if so how do I discover what make, model and dimensions am I looking for. Having been reading stuff all over including this Bottom Bracket thread. I am wondering now howdoes one choose between Splined, octa and square? According to the thread mentioned there seem to be a few heads out there that still prefer Square Taper! I would welcome any thought on this crucial component replacment/upgrade. Thanks Mek
  2. Thats Great dude - nice one. I got my first trials bike end of last summer, at aged 36. I was down the local skate park last week and whilst standing waiting to drop in, one of the young boarders looked up at me and said "hey you've gotten better" made my day! Do get funny looks from some of the other parents sometimes though. But I'm loving it - not the funy looks now, the riding, can't believe how fast the hours go by once I get on the bike... Cheers Mek
  3. Hey All First post here, But before I put up a pic of my bike I would like to apologise to the admins for mailing them asking why I couldn't post. I just read the noob instructions. So, sorry guys ... Any way here is a pic of me on my first trials bike its an Onza T-Raptor LE, (Yes I know its not usual to be hitting up gaps and doubles on a trials bike but I was out riding in the wood and just came across them, couldn't resist ) I have been riding it since last summer. I spend a lot of my time on it in the skate park! The onza has been a great bike to start learning on, but now I am looking to change it for something a bit more serious. What I am wondering is, how do people rate all the DENG bikes, i.e. zoo gu, adamant, zhi etc. are these good quality bikes? Or can someone make a recommendation of a good strong bike to upgrade to bearing in mind I am 6'4 and over 100kilos. Thanks Mek
