But would it make a difference with the whole 'less leverage and ultimately less braking power' thing? What I mean is if the inside of the lever-body is meant to fit 16mm, would it not feel exactly the same if bodged with a 14mm?
Hey just found these on Ebay, they're called Kooka and are going for £1-70! They seem to look alright - especialy the lever blades, they look like RB's. Has anyone ever rode/broken/heard of one before? The link is here.
My mate Mark had one on his dirt/street bike, felt very very flexy/spongy! - that could of been the though (but don't think it was) *could of been the bleed
DIY spraying is very easy, just take your time and build it up slowly. I nitromors'd the frame, Primerd it, Left the primer dry for 48hrs before actually spraying it, Then sprayed it, and it came out really well!
Never buy them! (they came on my onza t-comp) Me and Ozzy both agreed there terrible! I ride VP's due to them being dirt cheap, and Ozzy has V8's - amazing grip!
I also need to no this, as the spring compressed (needs streching) and will not push the piston back up, any ideas anyone? EDIT: Basher how do you plyer the hollow side of the piston? and by 'compresser' do you mean with a pump (like how the wiki says to fix lazy pistons) or do you mean something else?
I mucked up the pedal threads on my forged's within weeks! If you can't afford the Metas, Get the T-pro (tapered) cranks - even though they're tapered, there awsome! And come with a free bash. Check the wiki for advice with cogs.
