  1. An Ashton with 'Inspired Fourplay' stickers on, lol. Good riding, made me realise that I've got to learn to manual!
  2. Level boss is nice But I'm not a fan of moto-trials.
  3. (- 1 and a half months due to my broken foot ) Yeah, we've gotta film a vid soon - esecialy as its the holidays
  4. Get a light grind, that way your rim will last longer!
  5. Of course you can use mine if you want, but surely superglue would work better/be easier
  6. Good good! I was thinking about that the other day. By 'clearence' do you mean that the cranks stick further out than the vee arms do, or that the cranks arn't long enough to reach up by the vee brake???
  7. Well I love the frame, put it that way. I especially like the sound of a vee mount on top for once, and maggie mounts under neath! Tilt the seat forward, so it doesn't look like it'll make your rear tyre go bald. Put some decent handle bars and stem on it. Perhaps some beefy-er forks. And a front disc. Then it'll look nice
  8. It looks abit like the Simtra, very nice fair does
  9. What an amazing taste of music and camera you have, not! It was alright, but it was really just a film of sidehops - can't you guys tap?
  10. Which one, there are 6 LE 20"/26" Typhon 20"/26" ST 20"/26" I've never rode any of them but the LE isn't my cup of tea, As for the Typhons - well I prefur the 07's But the ST's look really good! Especially with the disc mounts.
  11. 18:13 will lighter gear than 18:12, which if you think your current gear is to high for you then by all means switch it. But if its a simple case of 'I can't wheelie very far' than don't bother. I can't wheelie, the move is pointless to trials! If you want to look cool by balencing on your back wheel - learn to manual
  12. So will you! Its validated mate Sick little vid, can't wait to see the real thing. Oh and welcome to the forum
  13. Well 'mod' means modified, and 'stock' esentially means standard. So the stocks haven't been modified for trials, thev'e only been adapted (geo, ect...) Mods on the other hand have actually been modified for trials, and the reason behind the rims (as muel said) is that if you were going to whack a massive 'trials specific trye' on a rear 20" rim, your rear wheel and front wheel would now be different sizes - meaning it would feel awkward to ride! So by shrinking the rim by an inch (down to 19") you can keep the 'trials specific tyre' without messing up the geo and ride height of the bike. Make more sense now?
  14. +1 Surely it would be easier to just have one impresively big brand?
  15. Also he doesn't respond to feedback to well. For instance when people ask him to bring back the 05 rims, he says there too narrow and therfore no longer acceptable for trials. And with the Zoo! bars, he says that he's sure theres no difference between the 'old style' and the 'new style' - when there blatinly is. And I can't remember what he said about the Zoo! pads, but my point is Deng doesn't listen to the riders/customers as much as say Onza or Heatsink do!
  16. Don't vee's actually work better being mounted on the front of forks? as the arms and pads move slightly forwards with the rim (if your bolts are loose, the ones that go into canti-mounts) and this in turn offers greater bite, along with a greater noise. But this therory wouldn't work for a disc braek
  17. I wish my dad watched my ride somtimes, he still thinks i ride a BMX even though I've explained biketrials to him many times!
  18. Can you still buy it? Or did he just buy in lots of the stuff at the time?
  19. I pretty sure he used the old style Zoo! pads, the componds changed these days
  20. iCharlie was a knob fair does, so i'll definatly buy one
  21. I had this problem before, then I found that twisting the hub in the opposite dirrection of which the spoke was facing helped. - So if your lacing a spoke that will face left, twist the hub to the right. Hope this helps, it does for me
  22. Do you mean it just turns around but doesn't actually come outwards? Or that its proper stuck, and won't budge?
