    Zona Zip

A link to the Ebay page might help. My mate Andrew just paid for a zip frame, should ride quite good - its just they're rather long. And everyone has their own preference on the ideal lenght (wheelbase) of they're bike.
  2. :$ I'm so jelous! Imo DOB forks (in white) would really set that off.
  3. Does this weaken the frame atall? Bike looks very nice aswel. I find that tilting my bars forward makes a huge difference to my riding style (in a good way ).
  4. My mate Mark had one, and it only had the maggie and V mounts. No disc
  5. Yeah, his is the worst! Although I think his bb is a little bent.

    Sorted

I have heard a few bad reviews of the Viz hub catalogue. These allow you to use gears. These are both equaly good, due to them being sister companies (both owned by Deng) with almost identical products. Deng hubs are quality products! These two don't allow disc brakes, although there are disc versions - here. Same as the two hubs above, but incorperates gears.
  7. That says alot about Deng's standards then, because my set of forged cranks do this and apperently so does 'ABTRIALS1's.

    Pad Reviews

Pads: Atomz Pads, found here. Time used: 2 months Rim used: Try-all (no sidewall paint) Mod/Stock: Mod Grind: No Brake used: 2005 Magura, plastic hosing, RB booster, HEN metal TPA, C'zar lever, power pad backings. Previously used pads: Zoo!, Magura red's / black's / brown's, Fibrax, Adamant, Neco reds. Utterly amazing! From when I first put them on (and they hadn't bedded in yet) I thought they were good then, but about a day later they bedded in and everything got alot better. They offered modulation and 'feathering', they had locked amidiatly, and held so much better than the Zoo! Pads I had previously tryed. They just outstanded me, and helped me progress faster (I had just got back into things, after breaking my foot). They just gave me confidance! 2 months on, they have worn by 2mm on one side, and 2.5mm on the other - pretty good for a 'smooth rim' pad, considering they started at 7mm. The only thing is as they have worn, a black layer forms over the pad - which decreases the proformance! But this stuff comes off easily with the use of my nail, its just annoying that it gets there in the first place. The only other pad I've tried that compare to these are the Neco Reds, but the Neco's do not offer alot modulation but in turn lock slightly faster - they both have the same hold, but the Neco's wear faster. All in all they're my favourite pads so far
  9. I had the same, £4 of Tarty! Quality stuff I've also used the Linear slicks before, but one thing I found was that the circumference of the outer cable was too large to fit fit prperly into the Avid noodles. I'm not sure if anyone else has ever found this?
  10. Yeah Kris, there the ones! So are you developing any more pads now? Or just letting the profit roll in? As a medium-harsh pad would be good, or a wet weather orientated one would be the pad of choice for Winter days.

    Koxx Days 08

So you guys didn't ride in the wet , fagots Very intertaining, lol!
  13. So are Heatsink developing a new 'space pad', or will NASA be using Coust's or red's?
  14. Yeah, to be fair there better than my Atomz Pads! And I thought it wasn't possible to get any better than the Atom's (on a smooth rim, no tar/brakespray). We'll just see about wear life though, as the Atomz start at 7mm,and Neco's start at 8mm - and in the last two months, mine have lost just under 2mm on each side. I wonder how long the reds will last? EDIT: Yeah there the ones Kris.
  15. I'm 6 foot exactly, and I ride mods with a wheel base of 1030, and stocks of 1065. Suits me awsome! Perhaps a python if your going to stay on 20" wheels. For 24", the Inspireds are nice - or maybe the new Heatsinks. But Zoots are quality to! As for 26", its hard to say what you will like or feel comfy on, perhaps try out some peoples when your on a ride? And go from there.
  16. I thought someone was filming it, and then they fainted or fell asleep! But the camera falling is a much better explaination

    oh my god!

Haha! Sidehop/tuckage thread = the perfect thing for this guy!
  18. This will be the quicker way (providing that it works) but if you do atempt it, be careful not to damage the threads on the hub shell.
  19. And why did you 'bump' this?
  20. Ashton is stunnng (only downfall is the front blue hub)
