  1. wow, well done - thats mad!
  2. Wow, I'm soo popular Mines from the first batch of MK2's, dunno whats happened with the new batch's though (also known as 'MK2.5') ??
  3. Wow, those Koxx BMX's look really nice ... How much do they way?? *weigh
  4. Apparently these leek like a bitch.... Wack a CNC lever blade on your maggie oh no, you've got an 04... hmm. I had a C'zar lever on my maggie (before switching to vee's) and felt wank! You had to pull it far too close to the bar for it to hit the rim (with pads really close to the rim) - so wasn't ideal for me Worth a go though? But your maggie didn't seem bad last time we rode.
  5. Plus it would most proberly be more expensive than the drilled versions (like the new Onza £75 ones) ... >.<
  6. Got any pictures? I'm quite intrested in seeing this 'fallen off flange'...
  7. A Hope ProIItrials / Chris King would most defenatly be good enough Allthough my Hope XC hub isn't bad...
  8. I'd just drill extra holes next to the existing holes, as filling takes far too long!
  9. Yeah, but you said... and I wasn't sure if you ment the chain coming off - which would obviously be dodgy! But I guess you ment 'skippage' as in the tension isn't there, and the chain skipping over the teeth on your cogs ?

    My Onza Zoot

Why bother with that seat? makes it look wank.. Unless you absolutley desire a real seat post, why bother with the Inspired frame? Same geo, both have 'maggie only' mounts. It would ride exacly the same (just look different)!! Not saying Inspireds arn't good, but theres no point spending almost £300 for no real benifit to your bike/the way it rides. I'd do stuff like new forks, tyres etc.. If you have to change frames, why not get something that will ride differently like: Lesson, Heatsink, (I have a MK2, and they are brilliant!) Revell, You know, mix it up a little EDIT: clearer pictures (actually hold the camera still) would of been better.
  11. Is it still cool to say '+1' ?
  12. Sounds and looks brilliant mate, good job (well good job by your dad ) !! One thing I would do is.. to make a kind of 'cage' to go around where the chain sits, so there's no risk in the chain slipping/coming off
  13. Panaracer FireXCpro's on the front are just awsome they grip well, are light and last for ever!
  14. Yeah boy! 'post mounts' / BB7's for the win
  15. QUOTE (joe b @ Aug 12 2008, 03:50 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Go 24"?
  16. My 29mm wide Rhyno Lites work fine, and the tyre always grips Is there really a need for this extra 30mm of rim (or weight as others may consider it as - haha)
  17. Not really, nothing to boast about. Also why bother with the 3 almost identical top models - just different brakes, and a drill has been taken to the rims (apart from the front hog on the 'blade') ?? Because someone with a bit of sense would just buy the 'pro' at £440, as £110 more for the 'comp' is barely worth it as Maguras are quite shite to be honest - and you wouldn't get the disc hubs anymore, just someone whos taken a drill to your rims If you wanted a dual maggie Onza, it'd still make more sense to buy the 'pro' and fit magguras to it surely? I'm not trying to be a twat, I just think the price gaps between the top 3 models are a bit to much! But in all fairness they look really nice and good call shortening the forks. EDIT: perhaps make the stem lower next year, and the clamp interface 31.8 (as this would make it easyer for begineers to upgrade one step at a time ) ? x

    Profile Hub

Do it! It can't harm the hub in any way, as the lockring is still on the outside And if it helps your chain line and effectively your chain's life - its well worth it!

    44 Tango Pads

Finally!!! I've got 3 pairs of Plazmayic CNC'd backing sitting at home (as maggie pads don't fit in). Will be sweet to use them again
  20. Cai Evans - don't have a middle name Would this be a little crap though, as 'profesionals' arn't allowed in the Olympics It's only for amateurs (sp?). So Benito, etc.. wouldn't be allowed in - It'd still be better than Babminton at the Olympics!!
  21. HENO Disc Break? On the site it says about them, and that the rotors will be 180mm but no other info. Anybody know about this one?
  22. Just don't wory about the disc allignment, and tension the chain as you normally would with a rim brake. Once this is done, you can allign the BB7 clever.. To do this you find the to bolts on the end of the 'IS mount to post mount adapter' (they take a 5mm allen key, and have domed washers underneath - like on vee brake pads), un-do these. Then follow this guide to allign it perfectly ; And your away
  23. Yey But they do look nicer than the 2007's 'plain' approch. Hopefully he'll see the sense of putting bashplate mounts on them too, oh and vee mounts , but thats proberly not gunna happen.
