Neco Reds are stupidly soft. Getting the softest pads available won't necessarily mean you'll have a good brake, many of the harder compound pads would preform better.

My 2.35 Larsen TT fitted in fine with my Zoo! Pitbull forks - there wasn't alot of space between the tyre and fork but there was atleast 5mm all round.
