  1. You'll want the 138mm x 25°. Dave Kerr runs one on his Echo Control and it rides lush. I'd recomend the Tartybikes stem with Trialtech Sport bars, I run that on my Zhi Z2 (similar geo to yours, just +40bb) and it feels good. I've also got 25mm of stackers beneth it, so effectively makes my bb the same height as yours I guess?
  2. My Giga Pipe (118mm) ran fine with Try-All cranks, a Try-All rock ring and a Monty freewheel.
  3. Square holes are only going to be a problem if you file them yourself, they'll end up cracking in the corners. All rims manufactured with square holes will be rouned in the corners to prevent this happening.
  4. link. Edit: for those who speak french
  5. The mod's paint job looks lush!
  6. So why have the Tarty lads lied about this spacer?? haha.
  7. Matt, these spacers Ali are talking about are around 2-3 millimetres - surely not wide enough to add the extra leverage needed to snap a bb!
  8. The 19" Trialtech rims are lighter than the Viz by 1gram - haha. Allthough the 26" Trialtechs are over 30grams heavier than the Viz..
  9. Was this the bb that snapped at that Brimham comp??
  10. Its the same as the headangle - 73
  11. 1. Chain tensioners, 74 kings or 4 jeri? - both crap, go for a Tensile (or Atomz, Try-all, Roloff) 2. What chain are you guys running? Kmc Kool. 3. Coust pads in heatsink backings? or heatsink yellows or whites? Whites, they are epic on my vee! 4. Trialtech or neon isis bottom bracket? Trialtech lite (M15 bolts) - mines been flawless for the past year I've had it.

    Geo ?

05, 06 and 07 Echo Teams all had CNC'd built in boosters. That doesn't look like a short to me! My short 06 Team looked way smaller than that - it had a wheelbase of around 1005. EDIT: yours is an 07 model - the 05's and 06's had a massive CNC'd headtube.
  13. ..they look really good, I feel they would of both looked better with white grapics though.

    Because Forks?

Atomz forks - they came out first and are almost identical
  15. Monty freewheels are insanely good, shame they're now £60 - I brought one 2 years ago when they were still £35 and its still going now after never being serviced, and is been moved across a few crank sets in that time too. They're just great! I had a Tensile for around 9 months before I brought the Monty - I do not like the lockring being on the outside though, the second it un-screwed slightly the freewheel destroyed itself. Its seems stupid to not put the lockring next to the crankarm
  16. You can't go wrong with 25psi front and back.
  17. Sounds epic. Trials is getting bigger (: we've got our own show
  18. I too run a Trialtech stem on my 24UK, with 27" wide Monty bars - and its the perfect comprimise between trials and street. I tried out a Zoot frame on this bike before to see what all the fuss was about (just put every component onto the Zoot, as Zoots are supposed to be the same geo as Inspired) and hated it, I think the 24UK is just a nicer geo. I would get a shorter stem on there to make the 'reach' shorter like it would of been on the Heatsink, and tilt the bars back for the same effect.

    Deng Hub

Surely its screwed in on a thread, like all Hope hubs have their rachets. It can't be simply glued in, surely the glue would not even hold one kick of the drivetrain. Edit:
  20. Ash they don't even sell Echo parts I just E-mailed Tarty - they'll be in late next week, I can hold out till then.
  21. I'm in desperate need of an Echo Sl hub (135mm spacing). Tarty had/have none in stock, so I purchased one off of SelectBikes 3 weeks ago - and just got refunded for it as they where actually out of stock too! Does anybody know of a shop that has any right now? If not, Tarty Adam, when will you get more in??
  22. That Czar looks beefy and overbuilt, theres just too much CNC'd parts on it for a 24". And the dropouts.. Ttitanium BB looks sweet though, shame they only fit the Deng frames.
  23. Thought Tarty Adam made that rotor himself? ..out of a sheet of carbon he got off of Ebay.
  24. No, a 1/8" chain will rub on that bash. 1/8" chains do however work perfectly with Heatsink 'Cloud9' bash rings.. EDIT: beaten to it
