    24" Tgs Bike?

Yeah I understand theres been no 'trialsy' 24" yet, so nobody knows the perfect geo as of yet. I'm paying attension to the geo as I whacked this spare Echo Pure 04 frame of mine on my 24" set-up (literally just did a frame swap for the fun of it.. and had to make some extra long vee daptors for the rear barke to work) last week to see what it rode like, and it feels no different to me than 26" wheels.. So I figured these frames would follow the same principles as stock frames, and the popular geo of 1080, 380, 72, +40 would of been best?? Whats the advantage of the shorter chainstays and even higher BB?

    24" Tgs Bike?

So this frame would sway more towards the Tarty geo as I'll be using Echo Hifi forks.. I still really do want one but I can't justify having a second 'trialsy' bike. At the moment I have my stock (Zhi Z2 - 1070, 380, +40, 72) So that rides really compy, and my 24" (Heatsink 24UK - 1025, 385, +25, 73) which is a flickable little street beast. I can't see any good coming from buying this frame and having two full on trials bikes, unfortunatly..

    24" Tgs Bike?

Exactly what I was thinking. I know these frames are cheap-ish, but the manufacters of this frame can't that bad that they change the entire geo of the frame

    24" Tgs Bike?

What is the geo of this bike built up? As I have that money on my card at the moment and really do want to buy it now, but the geo Tarty states sounds off-putting to me than what it was surposed to be..
  6. +1 The 'speed dial' on Avid's are used to increase and/or decrease the leverage. It works completely different to a TPA on a Magura.
  7. That built in booster looks mad I like the look of that frame, whats the geo??
  8. +1 Its awsome companys are making 'real' trials frames for 24" now. If these will be as cheap as the other Because frames that are on Tarty at the moment, then I'll be buying one (:
  9. I had the same problem as you, on two wheels the front wheel seemed way out in front of my handlebars, and on the rear wheel it seemed that I was cramped. I then brought a Tartybikes stem along with Trialtech bars and this made it alot better and have ridden with it that set-up for the past 3-4months. Recently I got the feeling of being cramped again, so for a laugh I put on a Echo mod stem (150x30) and it rides amazingly So the longer and higher the stem - the better!

    Speed Race 26"

The 26" frame on that site looks lush. With great geo IMO. No joke I want one - and if they're the same price as the current speedrace frames on Tarty then i'll be buying one!
  11. You joking right?? All you need is two snail cams, one between the frame and hub on each side. Each cam is 3mm, so two of them equals 6mm + your 110mm hub = a 116mm hub
  12. Now that looks much nicer! Unless the original design of the seat tube provided extra strength? or stiffness? then the next proto should be designed like this.
  13. If anyone answers "an Inspired" to this question, they will die
  14. Despite the flexy outer cable you've choosen, there are only a few things that could be making your brake this crap: - too light of a grind - lack of a booster - your setting up skills of a vee brake (probaly this one, as it sounds like your fairly new to using vee brakes)
  15. I ment Trialtech foam - every other foam grip I've felt have been way to spongey and soft, you can just feel the bar, its horrid!
  16. I ride with rubber grips, purely because they are 'lock-ons' and can't slide around when they get wet. Trialtech foam is alot nicer than any other grip out there - just they slide like a bitch when it rains! We need a lock-on foam grip

    Limey 320

That build looks great! Gold frame and forks with black components looks the sex
  18. I'd hate myself after grinding that rear rim.. It looks amazing with a gold sidewall!
  19. Drill a hole in through a spacer, and through the fork - then thread it through the hole.
  20. My Zhi Z2 weighs the same as that, and its really not a problem. The rest of my bike is really light weight, and surely a little fragile - so its nice to have something heavier and more reliable on a light bike. At that weight it'll surely shrug off the dents nicely
