hi basically i would like to know what gear ratio most of you guys run on your stocks basically i run a gear ratio of 22 18 i want to go lighter but i dont want to change my cranks as i have not got the money at the moment so really i am looking to chage the sprocket on the back so too achieve a lighter gear what size sprocket would i have to use i would like to achieve a gear ratio that would be about equal to 18 16 or as close to it as possible cheers in advance dec

yes high rollers or creepy crawlers. they are both good and really it just comes down to what you like the look of as they are probally about the same both have there advantages and disadvantages like everything else dec

yes mate just use lighter fluid or white spirits. it works a treat just put a bit on a rag and then wipe it on the rim then after you have done one side get another clean rag and wipe the rim down so you get all the excess spirits or fluid off dec

like everyone else has said mate use the search and there is a massive topic on pad reviews. ha the amount of people we have said this to latley is quite funny JUST USE THE SEARCH dec

yes avid bb7 are great i have one its the 185mm rotar. It is the best disc i have felt i love them i could reccomend them to anyone. They are very easy and quick to set up and when set up wright they are a beast of a break. Yes i do agree hope probally do feel better however the bb7 are alot cheaper and you dont have to bleed the bb7 as its cable. Anyway yes i would say bb7 all they way and to be honist i have not really rode a hope but i have heard they are awsome aswell and they stop anyone but yes you do have to bleed them but it doesnt take a genius to bleed them. basically they both have there advantages and disadvantages so it is up to you they are both excellent brakes what ever you decide dec

in my opionin i would say go for it. but do not get it just sprayed as it will chip easy etc so just get it powdercoated and it will last ages i dont think it will cost that much. and you will need to tell the exactly what type of black you want so you will have to show them as there are so many types of black it is unreal. dec

yes i agree with you on that steve that is true and espically with pads the only thing that is going to stop you being on your bum i would save and splash out on some decnt pads i have mike singleton pads his phat pads they are good but you do need a harsh grind. however the koxx brown seem to be pretty good dont need a harsh grind for them they are good on wear life as well and when set up propley they make a nice noise if thats your thing. dec

ye mate i dont really know anyone who has rode them however i can tell you somethhing now do not get ddg i have cracked mine they not very good i only have them as they come on the bike i bought sorry i couldnt really help i might pay to go for some more well know pedals like v8s or v12s dec

yes that is the only way you will get valadated by sticking to the rules and not posting rubbish so just take the time to read the rules and guidelines and you will get on with everyone on here and the only reason the lads get so annoyed with people like you is beacause all you have to do is read the rules and then no one would have this problem cheers dec
