I am the very pleased owner of a set of Middleburn RS7 cranks that came with a 22 tooth chainring, and I am looking for some advice from the members to tell me if it is possible to change to size of the chainring for a smaller one i.e: 20/18tooth while still retaining the bashguard that is fitted? Or do I have to buy a new bashguard as I am unsure as to whether they also go down in size according to the chainring? I would really appreciate any help on this subject as I would like to change to gear ratio on my Ashton Justice, as I will soon be changing to single speed and want the smallest chainring and rear sprocket I can. Thanks again guys. Adam.
