Are you sure your monty bars are the right clamp size? I suppose you could either fabricate/bodge some kind of shim out of some really thin metal tubing or something or buy new bars.

Ask in about a weeks time when i get my new frame then ill tell you because i have them at the moment but im waiting for my new base ta26, i have them in my hand at this moment i time, look like they have been qaulity built, i have the V/disc straight ones (v brake bosses can be removed)

Yeah the search is good but its also full of random crap completely unrelated to the topic. I dont see the point in being funny with someone though hence the forum name 'new members chat'.

Something like a T-Pro would be a good starter bike, as for hydraulic rim brakes others believe them to be better than V's but the again others prefer hydraulic discs or mechanical discs, it all really comes down to what you prefer to ride really, street or natural, look on ebay for some good cheap starter bikes and when validated look in the classifides of this forum.

If anyone has any pictures of their Base ta26? because i might be ordering one next week but the pictures on websites such as tarty dont have much detail and i would like to see one built up.

Vehicle body filler. Make sure that when you do it the conditions are dry and warm and leave it for the recommended time otherwise it will sink and look shit when you paint it and get some filler primer afterwards.
