Might do then, I don't know much about hayes, but if you put mineral oil in a hope it will ruin the seals, so I reckon it would with a hayes.

I don't think so, because hayes use dot fluid and maguras use minral oil, so the seals in the lever would die if you used minral oil and vice versa. Might be rong though. Nice bike aswell btw

I used to get it on my trials motorbike, then i changed my grips to some softer ones, helped so much, might be worth trying

I've only every had arm pump once and that was because my brake had no hold what-so-ever, so maybe could be something todo with having to squeeze your lever too hard, or holding onto the bars much too tight?

Yeah, it is a bit strange, can go the same hight the 'normal way', but it feels more comfertble that way, i think its because i pedal-up to get up stuff to back . . but i mainly did it that way because the edge of that ledge is waxed and i wanted to make sure i landed well clear of the wax.
