linear slicks are among the worst ideas for a trials bike IN MY OPINION. the brake feels pish, the cable does not pull through smoothly enough for my liking. I can guarantee you 100% that i will be in the minority here but i recommend a standard shimano cable and outer set. You cannot go wrong and if it breaks then its cheap to replace. The only benefit of a linear slick is that if you do bar spins or danny mac type moves (which i know you do cos you lurve him) then the linear slick allows the brake to continue working after you have span the bars round. Other than this, a standard shimano cable and outer feels 100x better / smoother, and i will always stick to this comment.
