valve caps off four bolt mounts sawn off. take off bar end plugs every other side tread off tires take out the pins on one side of each pedal....then that gives you a foot side and a grinding side. KMC chain with the holes in the side plates drill out rear cog?? use 28 spokes per wheel instead of 32 less selotape as rim tape that HAS to take out 8 grams

i would imagine alot of this also comes down to the fact that ALOT of people within trials could not tell you what geo / frame style they want if you asked them out right. If i were to design my own frame the geo would probably be as follows 71.5 / 72 head angle, 1090 - 1095 wheel base (horizontal dropouts) 380 - 385 chainstay (horizontal dropouts) +35 bb however i know that this geo would not be appropriate to my liking of spins / streety stuff, so i couldnt specify a specific geo for that or find one that allows me to do everything i want to be able to do as big or as far as i would like. As such, companies have to cater for generic tastes, this is a hard thing considering the cost of manufacturing a frame. I imagine that companies are not making quite the superbly large profits off riders that we would like to think. hmmm i am not sure i have answered anything you have asked

can someone purchase him a peak for his helmet....why do euro riders (who use mtb helmets) insist on using helmets without peaks.

I do not see why you guys are taking the p*ss out of JT!, i actually commend what he has done. yes its a risk, but with shares everywhere plummeting just now, possibly even as low as they could go in some cases then now is the right time to invest surely??? Of course there is the chance that JT's shares could drop at the moment, and the shares could be losing money, however its a similar investment as purchasing a property. At the current time, the property I have bought has probably / likely lost value, however I wish to be keeping hold of this flat for a good couple of years - 5 minimum - and hopefully in that time all this recession malarkey will have disappeared and the economy will begin to recover. As such I would hope the value will creep back up and when it comes to selling I will make a profit on what I paid. It is NEVER a bad time to buy an investment, just a bad time to sell so my advice to JT would be just to hold onto his shares through the recession and hope that when he comes out the other end he will sell at a profit. Good luck lad

In 2009 I am aiming to sort out my career / life / relationship. Career I want to move into engineering / energy (aberdeen is the oil and gas capitol of the UK), i have an interview tomorrow evening and i intend to start a mechanical engineering course this year. Life I need to be happier, i have been a drain on friends / family / girlfriend for a long time, I have to try and stop worrying about my finances and live within my current financial situation. I would be alot 'flusher' however I have purchased a flat and its a major investment, I need to see this as a good thing. Relationship Me and the ladyfriend have been through a very rough month. It is all my fault, no matter what spin I or anyone else has put on it, i have a lot to prove to her and i hope from now on and throughout 2009 we can build back the strong relationship we had. I need to get out on my bike more, the last couple of months I have had winter blues / other things on my mind, i remember the days when I didnt worry about falling off / hurting myself, and thats what i want back. I have found that the more i have thought about falling off, the more i have fallen off.

and to see stanley shaw riding the same lines please head to the trialtech website sweet riding from both you guys. I want your skills.
-
right. before i go onto watch this - i had to turn it off i was so utterly distraught - you broke the first rule of trials vids rozza. Never use a song that has been used previously before. I have done it and ill never forgive myself. You should now feel the same. going to watch it all the way through now. EDIT: loved the vid rowan. You always push yourself it seems. On any bike you ride. Loved every bit, but as pat said earlier, i think you flow much better on a 26 (maybe due to having more room on the bike to maneuver) however i imagine your still getting used to the bike (although you dont look to be struggling). cant wait to see your bike on the justice. (ashton should have left it as the justice. ill be having words with him)

yes! it is right! I am all for people believing in religion, i personally have not really thought about it long enough to answer any questions related to religion. What i meant in my post by 'strongly' is regarding those that try to force religion on a non-believer. Every religion has these stereotypes and these are the people that agitate me. I went to sunday school when I was younger, then I (not my parents) made the conscious decision that i did not want to go, and that i would rather play football on a sunday. Since then I have not thought about god / religion at all, until I get dragged into a debate / conversation about it. I had a catholic girlfriend, who was apparently a devoted catholic.....she certainly did not abide by half of the 'rules' that they are meant to. However she never forced her religion on me. I have met man people who have tried to force me to believe, questioning my beliefs, putting me down because i do not believe. Telling me that i havent lived because i do not believe. This grates me. As I said previously - "up the gays" - i have no 'beef' against homosexuals (my uncle is gay, does not bother me in the slightest). In the same hand i can hold religion. I do not believe people should be forced to follow a religion, however should they decide that they wish to - as long as they do not think that because they are religious they are on a higher level (as a person) then me then all is fine. EDIT: that Louis theroux program was extremely intriguing, however the god awful people he met are exactly the kind of people who 'agitate' me.
-
"up the gays" on a more sensible note, people who follow faith as 'strongly' as the pope really do agitate me. their views are dated, the modern world is changing constantly, and people like this need to be stripped of their powers and reduced to tears in a barrage of bukkake. Just a simple view, however if it were to be implemented, i believe the pope would go into hiding pretty quickly and as such we wouldnt have to listen to his drivel. NOTE: i havent read the bbc article yet, i am about to and my views above are strictly contextual humour.

continentals weight (as shown on their website) is 1000g (1kg) dead on. EDIT: and as i have told you before. FFW is definitely a winner

Nice one Ali. i like the look of that yaabaa...actually impressed with it i very much look forward to seeing a video of you on this beast. not impressed with the lack of v brake though

we will see how soon that changes when you break your ankle at cambu

get some high top skate shoes....last longer / cheaper (if you hit up the right places). i have some zoo yorks that i love. They needed bedding in, but now i prefer them over any trials shoe. Mind you, i have seriously weak ankles, and need support for when im riding.

oh stanley.....your good

as i said in my text, you'll regret it......especially when we go road tripping with your favorite allies. Seriously, you think about geometries so much, your so comfortable looking on your zhi, and it totally suits your riding, you can go bigger / smoother / better on the zhi....why go backwards?
