  1. I have stuck another little update today. Feel free to read it. http://mis-conceptions.blogspot.co.uk
  2. Hey man, I am assuming you mean taking the bike to Marbella? if you are then it cost me about £25 each way to take the bike on board. We travelled with easy jet and everything seemed fine. no real problems. ta ben
  3. It has been a while since I have updated this thing...so I thought I'd stick up a little something in order to keep it going... My main thoughts are on the GETCreative Comp at the moment, so my blog has taken a back seat. Anyway, give it a look see http://mis-conceptions.blogspot.co.uk
  4. So a few of us are helping Ben out with updates of the blog and the facebook site where we can, whilst he is undergoing his exams at uni. Good luck to Ben, but for now, I have stuck up a wee post regarding Ross McArthurs video entry... www.glasseyetrialscreative.blogspot.co.uk
  5. yo man, ill stick you a pm with my number. you can give me a shout. there are a few of us who ride, but unfortunately, we dont ride as a group as much as we'd like due to working / other commitments. hoping to get out on thursday evening though. ben
  6. really good video joe. Enjoyed that. Some amount of progression in the past year or so really. Keep it up / head out onto the streets and lets get some new scenery (Barrow is a good place, but i think some variation would make your vids stand out even more) some of the camera shots were really good considering they were static. #decentshotsmakevideosbetterpeople

    Getacme

    total...beast. loved that
  8. wet rocks + holy roller tires + street bike = if i pull a foot jam whip in a section i win expert hands down?
  9. If i am honest kev, the weather isnt looking too promising in glasgow / neilston either. Might be worth while postponing until we have an opening in the weather? It wouldnt be a great experience for kids / younger generation if they are just riding around cycling through piles of mud. just my 2 pence. everyone entitled to their own opinion though. let us know your thoughts this evening and we can go from there.
  10. Jim - kinda missing the point, as you did the skillful bit, whether or not euan said "aye that looks gid" (in his obviously scottish accent) haha. My personal opinion is that it is fine for someone to do the filming / editing for you, its you that is riding. Also having someone else edit for you might be a bit of a benefit but not always. Doney's video for example, i felt it was a little over-edited even though the riding was pretty decent. It is each to their own, but Joe - you have 'bare skillz' of your own, so i dont think you editing your own video will be a hinderance.
  11. not looking promising http://uk.weather.com/weather/10day-Killin-UKXX1465
  12. liked the edit man. good skills. Euan's riding is coming along nicely, a few BC's here and there, but really good all in all
  13. how soon do we know if it is going to be going ahead this weekend?
  14. well guys...you all killed it. Really good riding. Loved the whole thing. Ali...i want a shot on that 24...you are really making me reconsider a move towards a 24 next rather than a 26....
  15. hoping to get over to this if the weather is good kev. keep us updated. will be a blast no doubt.
  16. So I went on holiday, I took my bike, I made a video. Enjoy
  17. Video update http://mis-conceptions.blogspot.co.uk/
  18. brilliant video flipp...your skills are worthy of the new deals you have. Really impressed with what you are coming up with. if this is not your GETCreative entry...then what you are thinking of for your video is going to be a tough one to beat i'd imagine...
  19. I concur with Ross...get the saints. I have them front and rear and havent felt a better brake at all!!
  20. one hopes that you shall be removing your bags from the shot when you go back to film that line..../criticism
  21. I run Shimano saints front and rear, and so far so good. The brakes lock on really well, but also allow a good amount of modulation for manual lines. I must admit that they do take a bit of getting used to, but i cannot fault them at all...
  22. Josh Leech of Jaf Bikes recently added a few upgrades to my Marino, and I must admit, he did a sterling job of it. I was mighty impressed with the quality of the job, and everything fitted up perfectly. I have put up a little post on my blog about the updates on my frame...have a look here... http://mis-conceptions.blogspot.co.uk

  24. agreed....its a disgusting 1990's move...that people think jack invented (no offence jack), but it's definitely not called a meekflip before anyone brings it up
