Another disc brake related topic from me ;)
ben_travis replied to Laurence--Trials's topic in Trials Chat
From memory the saints come bog standard with sintered pads. If you have a clean or brand new rotor (i didnt first time round...NOOOOOB), then no brake from my memory comes straight out of the packet and works like a Shimano Saint Why you'd even consider changing the pads from the standard spec pads is beyond me. I don't even see how you could improve on the hold this brake has? -
I really do hope something like this catches on...simplification of the grand incompatibility of the many drivetrain components available to trials riders. My only issue with this (as per many MTB cranks such as saints etc) is the 'seemingly' singular axle and crank arm. IF I were to break the axle, i'd need to replace the whole set (i.e. costly). Also would it now be possible to see a left hand drive on trials components with this set up? flip the cranks over and flip the FFW around 180, fixed cog on the rear...just another thought. Also...are you allowed to freely 'copy' the shimano spine design?

Its the splines that you have used that I am most interested in seeing. Unfortunately the pictures you have taken on the FB don't really show any of the 'interesting' bits. You also seem to have gone too down the way of 'arty' pictures with a wide aperture. get some more pictures up of the splines and each separate component so we can see up close.

Based on a few requests now, I have made the decision to extend the deadline for video entries.... In order to help people out / give a few weekends, video entry deadline is now 10th February 2013... I still havent received any entries as yet, but fingers crossed the christmas period might bring a few people some time to make an entry. http://mis-conceptions.blogspot.co.uk -

Of course you ca n enter on a uni if you want something different eh:-) -
I have now watched the main video more times then I do my own (which is a lot....gotta get them views up)... I think it's a tie between this video and Joel's video as my favourite this year! Both remind me just how much I'd like to get down and ride the estates in London! Obviously ali's riding is awesome, but I think all four sections deserve credit for their own reasons, but I couldn't help think that you 'downplayed' your own section a little mark. The riding was good don't get me wrong, but it kinda felt like you didn't put as much effort into the edit in that part as you did in the other three sections. Flipp really is improving everytime, and the brakeless really makes his riding more incredible (certainly would be interested to see his skills with the additions of brakes though). I think my favourite line was ali's gturn into frenchie manual (where dogs hate him), followed by flipps side hop to thin planter into gap. All in all a brilliant videos guys! Really wish I could get down to ride the spots you guys get too!! ABZ just isn't cutting it anymore! I very much look forward to a clean 003??

Easily one of my favourite trials videos EVER! Everything about the video was just brilliant, summing up how I feel about trials at the moment. p.s. i hate to try and and hit on ali too much in public, but my word you suit that 24 down to a tee. Your style does actually have my green with envy.

wrong frame choice then?? i'd imagine the sky isnt the frame with the longest reach out there? maybe im wrong. EDIT: who'd have thought that an inspired hex has the same reach as a Koxx Cloud

you know that the companies charge you for certain data useage (i.e. internet access / apps etc?) some contracts are not unlimited data use. could be a possibility
-
you did all that dremmelling on the bike...and you didnt remove the onza logo off the headtube.... just think of the marketing location you have missed out on!! bike looks sweet though. Reminds me of the curtis grey
