Why? I find it more fun to come in and make an opinion based on one persons comment, wind some folk up and then see the reaction! Also, my response is directed at one persons post, which is inaccurate in my opinion

The guy you posted in that video doesnt go that big, I am a skinny bast (in comparison to damon / that unit you showed in the video), and back in the day i've gone just as big as that i'd say. (/end of blowing my own trumpet. Fell off the end of the bed and banged my head...) You are very wrong if you think there is no use in technique! I'd also point you to both CLS, who is a wee bean pole (sorry craig), and even tunni isnt a complete unit, yet both two of the biggest street riders to this day. The guy in your video does have technique, it just isn't as controlled as it could be, and needs a little refining. I am looking foward to seeing some riding again from Damon, i just hope his video is on the streets rather than in a warehouse on pallets.

also Mikey, the length shown on your diagram that is sort of parallel with the downtube isnt the downtube length...just making sure you know that is the 'reach' (centre of bb to centre top of headtube)

that is one hell of a bold statement...(and not just because I bolded it). I would actually disagree. My guess is that you are insinuating the use of drugs, and while the Lance issue has highlighted the use of drugs in his 'TDF Victories', that doesnt mean that you should just tarnish the rest of the cycling world as drug users. I guess by your insinuation that team Sky, who are confidently boasting their 'clean' status, which also stretches to the british cycling team currently owning in minsk are all on drugs?

While i don't know how much I would use it, i think it'd be a good idea overall. Might want to go speak to the guy over at www.ridden.it to see if you could integrate his map in some how to the app...could be an idea. p.s. make sure its iphone and android compatible as well

I can't understand the fixie hate for the create bikes, its a £250 bike, i don't expect big things. It came with a flip flop hub (allowing fixed or singlespeed), and if I am honest has been totally solid since i have had it. It gets me from A to B, and is useful for taking the dog out for a run. plus its a sweet colour What more does it need? RE the skye brake lever angle - matt got it spot on! I think it could be slightly shallower, however this seems to be the compromise between bashing legs off brake levers and wrist breaking bar angles...

i am surprised at ali's status about his wrist, it looked like his ankle (s) could have taken quite the bashing! Nice line though. bunnyhops to front are funtastic how you finding the brakes mark?

i am just too lazy to sort the CS protecter out sam, just stuck it on and went straight out to ride. saints are probably the best thing ive invested in on a bike in a LONG while man! definitely do it if you have the dollar
