I f**kING LOVE TRIALS RIGHT NOW> I am no different to this tap hook sidehop this that and t'other, but i constantly want to progress, whether this means do 50" sidehop or trying onto thin objects I LOVE IT. sad as it sounds, im having more fun now than i ever have been. The pissing rain is soo much fun, if you go out with a positive attitude its great fun. So what my brake slips and tyres slip, but the necessity to push myself is huge. im looking forward to the bristol and leeds street rides over chrimbo, they should be good fun. Have some lines i want to do in both places, and also in Hull. meeting up with new people is great meh. im having a great time also ride some freaking natural rather than street, if u aint got none, find some. its much more fun than street

How's Everybody Finding This Winter Weather
ben_travis replied to Mr_Pitbull's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
now this is the attitude im talking abuot. i truly love riding in the wet rain cold allconditions, it you practice hard over the winter and exceeed all ur current standards, then when it comes to summer and its dry, u will grip better and should be able to go bigger, or improve or find a new street move. i love it, what i do hate is UNI COURSEWORK only 5 days left and work is killing me. although ill be out tonight aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeah -
Many of us now ride with a UCI style, where bashgard is not an option, whether this be street or natural. I certainly do ride like this. When i was younger i did not give two shits about what i ride, however now im a bit older (21 :)) i have become more aware to the feelings of others. This said, there are instances where i have ridden things i maybe shouldnt have in the interest of a video :) Its all fun, and as long as you arent causing damage, then there should not be a problem. Rubber does not damage walls, unless its unstable in the first place meh thats my opinion. I think u see videos and pictures of us riding historic stuff because sometimes the best contradiction is the modern day bikes riding along an old wall. meh another opinion Ben

just so u know aran this venue is another hour north of fort william, at the moment we done have many sections with rocks, although maybe more will be being placed at the venue. we have lots of space but not to much rocks or obstacles in general. feel welcome to come, but hopefully there will be more to ride this time. i certainly enjoyed it last time. we had six sections, but this time hopefully more will be viable (Y)

hey guys, i reckon we will be there for about half eleven, to twelve, at the train station sounds fine to me temple means or whatever its name is for half 11 hopefully damon will get his wheel sorted by then (Y)

yer have been riding it for a couple of weeks now, really really like it, hard to tap, but i am getting there. see you on the leeds ride btw  should be good to meet up with you again. Also get ur arse to bristol on 18th. to keep on topic some nice pics, ali c's moody picture is the best so far IMO
-
lol, sorry ali, but that was amusing, hopefully it wont start some environmental argument on the forum  but i have never ridden a magura disc, my hope trial was awesome, juicy sevens are ace on DH bikes, but not so sure for trials. BB7 seem to have good reviews ;) my recommendation is hope trials

basically, stop worrying, most people have to adapt to a new frame, there is no way that a new frame will make u shit loads better. just ride it. it will take time, or it may happen in 15mins. just get used to it AND HAVE A LAUGH
-
yup yup yup, come on boys, not long now, just under two weeks, get there or be square :0

A picture i took of vincent H riding at the worlds, i took this while holding a video camera in my other hand so give me some credit...... one of mr towler, i took riding natural at our local spot and another further round the corner, ah natty rules btw it wasnt straight up that he made that ;) also this is a pic i took using stubert's digi slr, yes i did take it stuart so :) and for stuart, one he took of me

stolen from somewhere un-inventive, quite funny though so makes up for it (7/10)

hmm, it is hard to explain the technicalities of it, but it does seem very hard. I was struggling to get a hold of them, and its hard to keep a tap to the back wheel, i was trying 50ish yesterday and it was v.hard, i made one or two, but i was landing pretty much to both wheels. the high bb is good for a competition element, but if u only ride street and nothing else, and like tapping, maybe not a wise choice. IMO ben

tut, got beaten to it, milk rules, although im sure a few people have that avater, pretty annoying >_< so give me coffeee and tv
-
i know it is not one of the options, but i agree with this man, although you will probably say that i would have say that. I also agree with the guy who rides a czar above, everything deteriorated initially but once i got the hand of the extra flick-i-ness, it was nice. now i am going bigger than before with everything except taps, if your a tapping monstor who loves nothing more than tapping, DO NOT GO HIGH BB, they are not meant for this. My adamant is awesome, and i have never been a fan of the hole in the headtube craze. i love my adamant, its strong, light and works freaking awesome. and i can vouch that dw@hulltrials loves his as well. >_< benny boi
