A1 is U6 aluminium, whereas the A2 is 6061 or 7075 me thinks so the A1 is lighter (although not by much). geometry is a tad different with the A2 having longer stays so should be better for taps (although this can be altered by stem choice etc) In my opinion the A1 is nicer, but each to their own

I agree dave, some riders seem to expect a sponsorship to come to them. Ali C mentioned in a recent post that he was sponsored ages before he started making vids, but he rode alot of comps and knew/knows all the major players in the UK trials industry so has a benefit there. Maybe people DONT care about it anymore, but there have been a few topics recently about getting sponsored in NMC. My advice would be to make vids and ride how YOUwant to ride, whether this be street / UCI street / natural etc etc and people who comment on vids have got to stop saying oh its just trying to be CLS or DAMO or Tunni, if thats how the person rides, that how he /she rides. this puts that person off and then negative thoughts on whether he/she are good enough to be sponsored and thus wont approach anyone. if you are lucky a shop / compnaywwill approach that person then your obviously a good rider and have been noticed, however keep making vids etc and then people will get sponsored.

you need to use a song that HASNT been used before, by all means use something by the same band, but dont use a song that has been used before. its NOT COOL, and it doesnt show off your editing skills IMO. making a vid is not just about the riding, if it were then we wouldnt edit, clips would be just put together with no music etc. make sure the music matches the riding speed wise / edit to the speed of the song. ( i normally do the latter) but if you watch my vids you will notice that many of my songs are chilled out and are of a medium speed, where as when craig/neil/damon edit the music is much harsher and faster because they go bigger and better than id do. its about the riding primarily BUT, you have to think about it carefully.

missus moves away to edinburger uni this week (altogether now ----- awwwwwwwww), and i start 4th year (final year aka dissertation (altogher now ----- unluckaaaaayyy). so i might not have an amazing amount of time for riding. which sucks BUT i can say that this winter i hope to learn some new shit. got a few lines that i havent even told closest riding buddies about. and cant wait to try them i love winter, going out in the snow / rain / cold evenings improves your riding no-end. GET ON SOME ROCKS

i like the shuffle actually (when u compare it to the old one) a suitable design for some riders i would imagine, especially as if your out riding with it you dont stop and look at the tracks you want to listen to. and you only put ur favourites on there anyway cool
