Surely ‘effective stack’ is meaningless to compare bikes as so many factors can change the measurement (bar geo, stem geometry, stacker quantity / height, fork length, and lots of others that could technically change it). I could get a fourplay to have a similar effective stack as a raleigh burner if I put the correct components on it 🤷🏻‍♂️ This is why stack is taken from centre top of head tube, as less factors have an impact edit: to be slightly helpful, I will try and get you my bar height at somepoint

Light weight, and with a little modification, even lighter. Definitely helps with moves where the bike spins (FJWs, whips, spins etc) Tread pattern isn't too restricting for street riding Works tubeless Sidewalls are very thin, and really require to use higher pressures (i.e. 45psi +) unless you like changing inner tubes (or in my experience, buying a new tyre, because you tore the sidewall) Narrow profile isn't as reassuring as 2.4" in my experience

For the record, I was / will always be grateful for the support you gave me through TartyBikes and I'd hazard a guess that most of the riders you've supported will have been. I would also add that you've done more for trials than most could ever imagine so thanks for everything!!

That video is quite something. The speed changes are insane. It does re-affirm that I couldn't give two hoots about going to see an F1 race in real life though. Sat in the same seat for a couple of hours, possibly (highly likely) missing most of the action doesn't seem that fun.

God I watched that so many times when it was released. TKs were such a motivating group of riders

Gorilla tape is definitely your best bet IMO. It'll reduce the space between the hook and the shelf and hopefully push the tire bead up into the hook creating a better seal. Just make sure you use a rim tape or something over the holes (but im hopeful you knew that already)...

I know I 'don't' have to watch this, but, alongside the majority of big hits being shown on instagram before the event, it really grinds my gears that so much of the riders lines is shown before the 'big-show', that I don't really feel the need to watch the 'big-show' and it removes the allure of it. Is this just me?

It'll be interesting to see what they do w.r.t the sanctions following any (albeit rumoured) cost cap breaches.... If there is a serious breach, then I'd imagine any punishments will affect next season rather than this one, but a two year time-delay on any consequence surely won't have the desired effect. p.s. i am ridiculously terrible when it comes to using affect vs. effect so if they above are incorrect, then please correct them in your own head when reading...

It is one vs. what appears to be many* but I've never had any of the aforementioned issues with any pro4. The worst i had was a bearing, which i replaced and was good as new... *That said..the many in here vs. those that have pro4's who haven't bothered commenting could also sway it significantly the other way...
