  1. Since I don't really like stock bikes, I was thinking of building up a Megamo dual disc mod with gears, but there's the problem of the hub and derailluer hanger. So, I guess I will get a 24". Possibly a streety stock.
  2. No, it's not machining. Just using a hand engraver to cut into the rim. How is tar dangerous and gash?
  3. I'll take you up on that as long as shipping isn't too bad.
  4. Don't know about those, but hope mono trials are the best on the rear!
  5. Anybody know of a mod spacing hub with gears and preferrably a rear disc mount?
  6. Yeah, but anything works with tar. Anybody else can confirm Cousts or plaz work good on a smooth rim in wet or dry?
  7. That's what I was using before. How do they work mint in the wet? Couldn't get mine to hold at all!
  8. Yep, done told him that a thousand times. Thinking about taking that mechanical engraver to it. Anybody think that is a good or bad idea?
  9. Had Krytonites not Sapphires. Can't use tar cause I don't have any way to get it. And Jason, already done that knife thing. It worked better, but not good enough to keep from slipping.

    Help!

Alright, tired of falling on my butt! I'm running a Maggie with a smooth rims. Used Rock pads and hated em' cause they didn't work when they got wet. Using Tango pads today. And worked crappy in both wet and dry. Alright, here's the deal. My dad won't let me grind my rims for some reason. I've got a knife and cut notches all around my rim. That didn't work very well. Could I use a mechanical engraver to make the rim more of a rough surface so the pads would work better? Essentially the only reason anybody grinds is to make the rim rough right? So help me out here!
  11. The bike I would be buying already has Ultimate levers.
  12. Ok, here's another question. Would a BB7 be alright on the rear of a stock with an Ultimate lever?
  13. Would a Louise or a Marta be alright on the rear of a stock?
  14. Gotta love that ET man!!!!
  15. Get a disc! No, getting a V would just cost me too much money right now. I'd have to get Heatsink adaptors, brake, levers, cables, pads. Be a rediculous amount of money to spend.
  16. Still having problems after cleaning it out. Guess I'll have to clean out both slave cylinders and the lever like the Wiki says. Sucks, cause I won't be able to ride for days cause I don't have that much time to do all of that. Took me about 2 hours to figure out how to clean the one put it back together and bleed it. And it looks like I did that for nothing.
  17. Alright, it's done, but I can't get the slave cylinder back on. I screw it on and it's not in the right position to line up to go on the bike. What am I doing wrong? Edit: Fixed it! Stuck the crossover and bolt in the opposite holes.
  18. Hope those come out soon! Would love em!
  19. Yeah, I know they got big wheels. It would be perfect to have a stock that rode like a mod. Your Kot and Echo are orgasmic. You don't need anything else.
  20. Nothing really, just they are pretty plain and the Lites ride better. Although, I think you should go for that new Team when it comes out.
  21. Alright, any other way before I try the other way? I would rather not take apart since I don't have a good way to bleed it. All I have is some store bought mineral oil. And I used it once before and it didn't feel as good as Blood.
  22. I'd just be happy with getting to get a ride on a Boxx. Do they ride like a mod?
  23. Looks super swish! Loving it! Except for the gold rear booster and the fact that it's a Team frame. What rims are those? Look real good!
  24. Is there a vid there? Would like to see some of that stuff.
