A lot of front freewheels are not 100% evenly round if you get what i mean, so if you pedal the cranks around and keep an eye on chain tension you may see it slightly tighten or loosen depending on the position of the cranks.

Shimano hubs will just keep breaking, your better off saving your pennys and getting a pro2, and then even if that does break, you will be able to get it fixed foc! Should be able to pick up a second hsnd one for a reasonable price
