  1. I fing my echo lever ok, the reason i got rid of my magura one was because my finger kept slipping off it. You also get more leverage with them, which i suppose is good, but it could make your brake feel spoungier
  2. Mine was a really old onza t-mag. it was allright, i learnt the basics on it.
  3. If you can't be arsed looking i can't be arsed leaving a link. Some people are sooo lazy!!
  4. You can get disk and maggie mountings or just disk only. I would get disk and maggie ones as theres allways the option for front magura.
  5. The only one i could find was a monty 221 ti hub 06 thats 36 hole altough a little over your price range at £68
  6. Nice vid some good stuff going down. Them bails though ouch!!!
  7. I've had my try all for a few months now and its ok although it does make funny noises every now and then. A lot of my mates have had these and destroyed them after not much use. I would get an eno as i have heard good things about them.
  8. Yes theres a few things you can do. You could take your pads out and sand them down a bit, and give them a clean. Also give your rotor a good clean. You might also want to give your brake a re-bleed. Doing that should make your brake better.
  9. Not bad, but theres a bike pic thread for a reason.
  10. You might, but i wouldn't. having your bike submerged in water, it won't be very good on your bearings. Saying that it does look fun.
  11. What? My mate has an 07 team. Its the long version i think it rides nice, but i couldn't compare it too a short as i havn't rode one. It depends how tall you are. I am about six foot, so i like long bikes. If you are only small then a short one will be better.
  12. Shut up Mat, yes i got confused i meant pistons not calliper.
  13. You could have a lazy piston or your pistons may not be retracting properly. This happened to my hope, what i did was. . Take your wheel out of the fork. . Take your pads out. . Pump your brake a bit so you can see the calipers.( be carefull not to pump it too much as your calliper could pop out, which will leak all your fluid out and you will need a full re bleed.) . Get a rag and spay a bit of wd-40 on it. Then wipe all inside your brake and on the callipers to get rid of any muck that could be stopping them from retracting. . Then put the brake pads back in and That worked for me. This is what i think is wrong with it, it sounds to me like your brake could do with a good service as from what i can gather it hasn't been well maintained. If it isn't a lazy piston then i can't think what it is.Maybe someone else on the forum knows. Hope this helps.
  14. Onzas are good starter bikes theres allways a few on ebay, have a look for a t-pro you can pick one of them up for about £200.
  15. Welcome, if your looking for a bike for £300 then have a look on ebay you will get alot more for your money than buying a trials bike brand new. I recommend you look for a mod bike preferably short as this should be about right for your size.
  16. I thought you told me you had read the new member announcement. No for sale or wanted topics in new members chat.

  18. ouch! that looks bad. could have brain damage from that.
  19. Hi When i started trials i bought an ancient Onza T-mag on Ebay. It cost £100, although it wasn't very good at all. I would try and save up more money and get a better bike. You can pick up a half decent T-pro on Ebay for about £200. P.S link doesn't work for me so i can't see what you are looking at and whether it is any good.
  20. Hi I am going to the west side of france for my holiday setting off tonite. Don't Know what riding is like there but i hope it is good as i am taking my bike along.
  21. Hi I have the echo tough bars and I think they are nice. Although when my mates ride my bike they say they feel gash and i should get some riser bars. I have heard the Adamant bars are good. But whatever you get they will be better than standard onza bars.
  22. I would get a try all red as it will go with your front rim, But also you could get a echo 07 rear as they are supposed to be very strong and don't dent easily although they are heavier than the try all. If you want a pink rim then i would just get a try all pink rather than a bt. But i think that would clash with the rest of your bike so i would get a red one.
  23. To get your t-pro to look like that czar will require a lot of work. I don't no if you are planning to strip the paint and re-spray yourself, but from my experience me and a friend nitro morsed a t-pro then re-sprayed it and the finished look was pretty gash. I wished i hadn't bothered. But if you are getting it done professionally and have sufficient money to spend on coloured components to match then go for it, I think it will look good.
  24. I used to have an onza zoot and i didn't really like it it felt heavy and i thought it hindered my progression. i got rid of it for a t-pro which i found a lot better as it is lighter and more flickable and then i got an echo lite, as you are wanting to get into the sport i would go for a mod. Also when i had my zoot i found it very hard to get hold of trials parts for it as it is a bit of an oddball size. Hope this helps.
  25. Quite a nice vid you have a good flowing style.
