hey starting out trials and looking to buy a shogun gimp (the name puts me off)! i was wondering is it correct starting at a mod or should i choose stock, also what do you think of the actual bike, i have found it for £199 so hopefully i cant go wrong. Also if 20" is not right for a beginner, i have found a Saracen mad 2 six for £170 which is worth a thought. cheers!

oh sorry i didnt explain, i went to evens cycles and the pedals were VERY horrible and there was a husslefelt headset which i was surprised 2 see, i was wondering if they all come like that

if you were just starting out on trials, would you go for flea 1, or phase 1.3 seeing as i dont have much cash, also i may still not like it or be total shit at it!

i set up a post saying the same thing about flea 1, but they all said it was shit and go for the 1.3 LOL!?!?

yes thanks for your advice, the other d*ck didn't help, well i dont fancy any higher than the flea 1, A because its cheap as chips, B because the others have deraliers, which i happen to dislike, but i'll search for the new mad phase.

had 1 bike stolen, Land rover discovery (LOL) although this sounds shit it was v light and brought me hours of off road fun. it was partly my dads fault (he got tired of it being in the house so went outside and put it agaisnt the other locked bike) and partly my sisters (because she kept using it and leaving it in the house in the first place) so the moral of the story is, i have a lazy selfish sister who owns me a bike
