my mate had a shogun gimp he found it a realy strong and reliable bike to start on and there only like £230 so you could change some of the crapy parts such as the handle bars and wheels so yer GIMP for the win

Nah i'm just seeing what im doing wrong, because i've seen people joing up and a couple of days later there validated and they only write like one post. My post arn't too short, i try too use my best punctuation and i can be quite helpful with certain topics. Maybe the Mods hate me lol

Hi, its been a while now since i joined and i still havn't been validated. I've followed the guidelines but it still hasn't worked. So i want to know how long it took you to get validate (if you remember) and what am i doing wrong. Found two, drilled 20" red anodized rims for sale on classifieds but can't post due to non-members and the guy doesnt have an email! I did send him an PM (i think) but just got to wait now. What rim tape would you have with red rims? my frame is a greyish colour. Also where can you get the rip tape where it has more than two colours? Thanks, Cw00

Because he'll jump on his bike, go off do a gap or something and f*ck up his expensive bike. When you first start, your most likely to f*ck up because thats the point where most riders are crap. Thats why i bought a Shogun gimp

Tempted by these 661 MXE shin/knee pads. What you guys think. Also i started getting a few dents on my chainstay, any methods or recommended chainstay protection. I've seen the lizard skin one's but i was wondering if there just a cover, not a guard. Thanks

My mate has one. It seems OK, he can do simple trials but not really anything hardcore. Bad points, it has front forks, gears on the back, and a seat post. STP = Sreet, Trials, Park. Its also excellent for mountain biking and has good components. Also very cheap for what it is, seen about 299 some places. Cheers
