  1. the TPA is better, but only because its in a place that's less likely to get broken off. Watch out for it, because mine crossthreaded and i can't use it any more. People use hs33s at the back because modulation isn't as necessary on the back, but a brake that's reliable is. Rim brakes stop the rim, whereas disc brakes stopo the disc, but a disc is only designed to be stopped in a forwards rotation, and not backwards such as in a backhop. This means there's a small chance the disc could rip off.
  2. Racism is a really sensitive issue, but if you step back and look at things differently, you can see a lot of things like racism, disablism, war, they're human nature, things that we'd do regardless of the fact that we're sentient, thinking beings.
  3. Did you know, that if it wasn't for immigrants, our population would be falling, because we as natives to this country don't have enough children? I can picture it now, if they weren't there: "f**k, why can't we have state pension?" "because there's not enough young people to provide it for you." "well, wtf, sort it out." "actually, it's your fault, you didn't have enough children, and there's too many old people..." "...erm..." It's actually true, we did it in geography at a-level. Our population is dying and we need immigrants to keep it going.

    Windy Eh?!?!

i hate the wind, ruins riding
  5. trials is about mastering obstacles. Having big sidehops down on your skill list is great, but I personally (can't sidehop, but) enjoy going up things forwards, and if i can't get to an obstacle forwards, maybe i can get to it from another obstacle. not that i can actually ride trials yet...
  6. uts working now what i'mdoing is covering the slave hole, pushing the lever in, covering the lever hole and releasing the slave hole, releasing the lever, and repeating that way it suchs water through the slave hole and pushes air out through the lever hole sick, it works thanks mod mike
  7. first try, put my hs33 lever back on, replaced the main hose, water bled it using the bath method, and no response from the brake cyninders
  8. RIght. I'm going to empty the brakes of fluid, (put it in a pot for safekeeping) and then i'm going to footpump the slave cylinders so they're clean inside, then i'll try a bath bleed wish me luck
  9. if i want to switch to water bleed, should i empty the system first?
  10. i've decided i'll water bleed it. How do i go about converting from oil to water?
  11. I shoud water bleed it really, but i've put the fluid in and I don't wanna like waste it.
  12. I'm bleeding a hs33, but i've put a juicy 3 lever on it. It works, but i put air in when I put the fluid in >( like a twat
  13. Hello If more air gets into the brake, how long should I leave it before it'll get to the top? And do I need to pump the lever at all?

  18. lol i'll not cheat but if i dont use my tablet, i'm using the pad on my laptop, which is solid to draw with
  19. maybe tomorrow. Graphics tablet *** >) hahahahahahaaa
  20. expanding it (by heat) will either make the thread expand and thus loosen, or make the thread more malleable and more susceptible to tearing off. So, if you heat the insert, it ill expand and the pedal will not, making the thread on the insert looser and more likely to turn.
  21. might be a valid point, but you could risk it trying to expand within the brake, either due to heat from use or heat from the atmosphere, which could have results like gas pockets or bursting.
  22. i did that, but i took the insert all the way out perhaps it needs soaking with wd40? also, maybe a last resort but if you take it out with the insert, you could heat the insert to expand it and then put it back in when it's off?
  23. i found a good video on youtube, if you want me to look for it? it was for a hayes, but bleeding uses the same techniques there you go
