  1. I could indeed, but I didn't think of that then, I just thought, that god not all my picture is f**ked up, and, at least it's done something fairly realistic.
  2. Here's something I made. As you can see, I used a source image. See that yellow stripe? You can thank a corrupt .PSD for that. That happened to two of the four images I had to do, it turned out surprisingly well lol. I used some clever tricks to get as scan lines as realistic as that
  3. Me neither. I much prefer to have an idea or some restrictions to work around. I also prefer taking a picture and THEN editing it, but that's not a blank canvas, erm, the only thing I've actually made on a blank canvas on PS is a metallic background and clouds.
  4. from scratch? Like what? lol, I can't do it. I need source images to work from. A blank canvas can be great, but then you get no ideas. There's nothing to use.
  5. Lol, i don't know I use CS2. My tutor at college uses photoshop 8. haha
  6. You guys heard anything about CS4? Someone told me that there's going to be a 3D element to Photoshop in the future.
  7. Lol Nottingham isn't that great for riding.. Which explains two things, 1) why there aren't really any GOOD riders in Nottingham, and 2) why there aren't really any rides there. However, we all have a laugh, and there's plenty to do if you're not that great, like me! and the rest of us, haha.
  8. Hahahahahahaha You were talking to me about this at work. I would've just emailed tarty or sent a PM or summat on here about that.

Lol, that thread goes back to the time I was Disasterboy on here. Maybe a new Photoshop thread is in order?

Haha, cameras, getting out of my depth. I wouldn't mind good camera, lol Pen tool is so much better because it gets areally crisp cut, and you can also correct your mistakes with it.

Yes, its the one that sort of sticks to certain pixels.. It's ok sometimes you have to mess with the tolerance to get it to work better. Even so, Pen tool ***, it's on CS2 and CS3, and i have CS2 at home, so I never use magic lasso really.

I did ut for him, I used the pen tool. Feather it turns out was the complete wrong thing to use for this.

Something's not right then. what do you want doing to the pic of the flower?

Don't just draw a straight line with the lasso. That won't work. If you want a straight rectangle, use the rectangle marquee tool. You must draw some form of circle with the lasso, or at least a bent line.

I get that if I try and select a line of pixels. You need to make the space you're lassoing at least 1 pixel wide, hence, ' no pixels are more than 50% selected '
  17. You berk, that was in the happy thread, this is the whatchalis'nin to thread.
  18. Its a jump bike hub, so it's strongish, but it hasn't got so many engagement points.
  19. Word. That is pretty weird. The annoying thing for me about apples is the fact they cost a bomb. £1000 for a laptop!?!!? haha, I know that you're paying for a really good spec, and are getting it, but still...
  20. Do it! What's the house prices like there?
  21. Haha, so there's a name for jumping off and climbing up the obstacle. Comps would be good, but I'd much rather just be at a place where there are lots of obstacles, so I could make my own lines up. Like at sabadell, there's infinite lines. Also, I'm not good enough haha.
  22. Echo SL tensioner "Fits Echo hubs with 12mm axle only" If that's the case, that's pretty f**king shit. Someone needs to make a copy for 10mm
