the sprocket and chain are both new? Hmm. I personally would say the chain doesn't fit the sprocket right and you need a different one, but there might be a better solution.

Your wheel will be somewhat fine with one broken spoke, or even two. It's just weaker. It's not really the best thing to do, but it's certainly the easiest.

Word. When people call me anything, I tend just to avoid it. I don't like confrontations, and I most certainly don't see the point over the internet.

I usually retrue my wheel when a spoke snaps. I've never managed to put a new spoke in once the wheel's built without bending it, so I don't bother.

CDJs are quite pricey. They're the industry standard. I think maybe TheSci would reccomend his old Denon decks. Wait til he sees his thread, he'll be able to give you more advice. Second hand is an excellent idea. Bear in mind, a CDJ setup will cost around £2000, going on a quick google search. Yeah, £800 for one deck, and you need two.
