Yeah, its just smooooooooooooooth... I've not done anything horrible to my guitar, dropping it and the like, but its not chipped or scratched at all! I'm really happy with it, especially with the super distortion pickup. I find that the INF one sort of tops out on the high end of the neck, where as this sounds awesome all the way up.

I think it's unfinished. Certainly not painted, and it doesn't feel varnished either. One great thing about the ibanez is how hard-wearing the paint is.

Well, single pickup is certainly more simple. It's less likely to break! Hehe. I like the sound of my neck pickup thoug, especially on clean. It would appear my guitar has the wizard II neck on it, it really is nice. I can't imagine a nicer one. Funny, but I reckon even though we have the same necks they'll feel different. I have a schecter blackhawk, I played one in the shop a while after buying mine and it felt totally different.

I don't like the way it only has one pickup. 2 minimum! My ibanez has 3, I never really use the middle one though. If I changed it I might use it more. The wizard III neck feels silk smooth, it makes my other guitar feel horrible.

Someone ought to make one into a hotel, it would be interesting. I know it's been done in a scandinavian country.

Mine sounds like bees and its not stretched. Get it serviced, its all it needs doing.

I'll get some pics of my two guitars. On the subject of string stretching, I like it most when you put them on and as you turn the machinehead to raise the pitch, the string actually lowers in pitch cause of the stretching. A tip for string replacing on a floating tremolo bridge, is to do it one string at once, presuming only one (or none) is snapped. This is because with the way the floating tremolo works, as the new string reaches the correct tension after stretching, all the strings are bakc in tune. If you did multiple strings at once, it would basically need retuning, which IMO takes the royal piss on a floating trem guitar.

Well, I took the bearing end cap off, I couldn't get the freehub out but I jetted a load of oil in there and it spins free as owt. Haha. I ought to look after my stuff better.

This is true. Mods are poo. They're too small and handle funny because of the long stem, although saying that I started out on one.

Hi This isn't my trials bike, but my jump bike. Nevertheless: My hub, which is an atomlap trailpimp one, is starting to stick. By this I mean, when I stop pedalling, occasionally it will stop freewheeling. This is a particular nuisance because I have gears, and the chain goes slack and falls off the chainring (despite my chainguide) and its a twat to put it on. Why do you reckon it's doing it? It makes no different noises freewheeling, so I doubt any pawls or EPs are f**ked. Its not the bearings as it still rolls smooth. Really what I want to know is, if (and how do) I take off the freehub body, will it come away in lots of pieces? Ideally I want to fix it, I don't want to really have to buy a hub now, I can't afford it.
