A helicoil's supposed to be stronger. You'll need to drill out anything else that the bolt will go through, so like your clamps and booster. Why? Well, you have to tap it to a bigger bolt size. I'd just stick another helicoil in there. Lol They're different things.
Never said acoustics were shit... They're harder to play than electrics, you can't really bend strings on them, they're big... I suggested an ibanez because the necks on them are ridiculously easy to play with.
That was a vauge reference to the extortionate amount of lmaos you used in that sentence. The laughter to things-you-are-laughin-at ratio was all wrong.
That said, I got my recon forks, brand new, for £165. that said, they were very soft when I got them. Course, after the spring upgrade and a bit more oil, they're good to go.
Pfft. I want a PAF pro for my guitar. I like the purity of his neck pickup. I'd agree that you ought to find your own sound tather than copying one though.
It's cool. It suits synyster gates, but.. Thing about artist guitars.. You can build a better one yourself for less money. I give you the Joe Satriani guitar: £800? That's just an S with a PAF joe and PAF pro. The total of building it yourself? £500, a bit more possibly.
You could so buy a 3 piece suit to match it, and look like even more of a dick playing it... I don't think it's so bad. I can't tell you how it plays though.
