  1. Give it a bone and tell it it's a good boy?
  2. I would, but there's a matlock ride on. If Muel pulls out of the matlock ride, I'll go to this one.
  3. If only the gear ratio wasn't so shit, it looks pretty fun, lol.
  4. Suspension forks have nitrogen in them?! Open them, buy some new seals and fresh oil, replace seals and the oil, reassemble. Mind you let all the air out of the air side though, otherwise they'll shoot apart when you undo the thing. Forks aren't that hard, I've changed the springs in my rockshox forks - easy.
  5. One final thing - the little number under someone's name when they post that tells you how many videos they uploaded, and links you to them. It annoys me that the video search doesn't really work. It would be good if you could even just click on a username on the video thing and it brings up a list of their videos.
  6. Everyone agreed it wasn't going to work (again) and called it off.
  7. Use a crank extractor. Make sure it's a good one. Screw the part that goes into the crank in as tightly as you can. Use leverage on the other part if necessary.
  8. The only way you could have another thing similar (talking place, rather than setup) is involving a company with the money to hire out a city's square. Setup-wise, it's easier, but still, someone needs to build the shit.
  9. Hope would recommend leaving it alone - naturally, they'd supply it lubed to their recommendations. Tarty, and many others, would probably recommend finish line dry lube. I think...
  10. Obviously not. The site works, he's not getting a response from his emails to them.
  11. Haha, I saw some of that IRL... they were doing the sidehop-opposite-limbo thing with the MAD team.
  12. Glad there was someone else who picked up on that.
  13. You have made the right decision.
  14. 1 - it is. 2 - how likely do you really think a freewheel is to skip? And when they do skip, are you aware that they simply move onto the next EP, meaning you get reduced power, not no power, so in many cases you don't end up on your teeth? 4 - whatever, not really clever 5 - you're on about buying a whole LHD system, complete with ACS, when the money spent could buy a freewheel that won't skip, unlike an ACS? 6 - if they're actually LHD cranks, then the pedal thread's going to be in the right way, isn't it? 7 - you say normal cranks have the room for this on the non-driveside. So where exactly are you planning on putting the freewheel? There's no thread there.
  15. The problem is it's the Evo system, which is flexy anyway. It's also not compatible with any other booster, 2 or 4 bolt.
  16. Some reasons - It will be heavy It won't engage at the same time as the other one It will be expensive, compared to just getting a new chain and freewheel for a traditional setup You'll need a hub that can take a sprocket on either side without unwinding - not going to happen You'll need to stop the FFW unwinding from the crank arm on the left side You'll need to stop the pedal from unwinding on the left side, because you'll have to get another driveside crank for that You'll need to buy another set of cranks so you've got two driveside cranks.
  17. Ok. However you don't ask someone's advice, and then tell them they're wrong and do it anyway.
  18. How about black? You do see much of that.
  19. It won't work. It's a bad idea. If it was a good idea, it would be in production already. Thought about it that way? Obviously not.
  20. No, don't give him more ideas, he'll kill himself.
  21. They would've almost certainly underestimated the strength of it, purely for safety.
