  1. If the bolts are bottoming out, the clamps won't meet. If they meet, then it's just a dud fit so then use your tape.

  5. Do you never get that thing where you swear you heard someone say your name? Clearly if I'm lying in bed trying to get to get to sleep no-one's really said my name. It only happens once in a while, like, twice a year.
  6. Or, you could cut the top bit off, cut a chunk out, and then weld the top bit back on, making it lower. You'd need someone who can weld, but it would mean providing you get the angle and height right, you never have to worry about it again.

However, you'd have to blow your money on two helmets to get it.
  8. Do you mean, you cut all the knobbles off? Or it wore down itself? Cutting the knobbles off an expensive tyre doesn't seem worth it to me.
  9. This looks better. Sadly, when it last cropped up we found out it's a combination of two helmets.
  10. Well... Mine's in 24" mode, ADS and all that, and when I rode mine with rigid forks it felt like my mate's leeson ET24 copy. It's pretty short... on 100mm sus it's meant to have +10bb. I think running rigid forks makes it sliiightly negative BB but not too much. Definitely try it out. You might like it!
  11. Do you actually see and hear this benji fellow? So your eyes register seeing him, and when he speaks you feel it coming through your ears? Sometimes, very rarely, I hear someone's voice I know say my name.... only happens when I'm about to go to sleep. I'd say it was my memory digging things up. When it happens to me like that, I can always tell it came through my brain and not my ears. The point being, if it starts in your brain you can control it.

  14. You can briefly drink through a twix biscuit if you try one of those. I also like echo bars dunked.
  15. This sounds like you're saying 'I bought this, why did I buy it?' which is a weird question.
  16. I've got a set of charge cranks on my streety project and I use a 22t sprocket on there, with a 24t blackspire granny god bashring on the outside. If you turn the bashring round it hides the logos and text on it. Out of stock... Actually, the 4 hole one is out of stock, but the 5 hole one isn't. If you got a 5 arm spider on your cranks you could use the 22t, even better!
  17. I should think caged pedals are better in the wed and mud.. less pedal to stick to. So, if you're a natural trials rider, go for the caged pedals, you'll soon get used to them. And if you're a street rider, you probably avoid riding in the rain anyway so stick to platforms.
  18. I think that on a caged pedal, because there's less contact area with your foot, you get more pressure, more grip. On the other hand, I'd rather beat myself in the shin with a platform pedal than with a caged pedal. Also, IMO platorms feel nicer underfoot.

  20. You need a new one, it's called a compression olive, the reason being that when you do all the fittings up it deforms to create a seal. If you could bear it, buy a magura bleed kit. It comes with all the things you need to fix your brake a couple of times, and you'll be able to get more oil from elsewhere. It's for the best
  21. Gaaah, sounds on a website is annoying.
  22. Getting a new cable and lever together should eliminate all the flex. Unless the calliper flexes, lol. A new cable should stiffen things up, but I had a really bendy lever on my bike before and it only went away when I changed levers.
