hello everyone, this topic is about how old everyone was when they started trials and whether age makes a difference to your riding ability, i wanted to take up trials when i was about 15, after spending lots of money on a cannondale frame and building it up myself it got stolen from outside my house after about a month of having it this ment my mum wasnt willing for me to get another bike and instead i spent an awful lot of time doing drugs and generally lazing about! after 5 years without exercise i have decided to go clean and thought rather than paying for a gym membership why not get a couple of bikes, i have bought a team mad phase 1.3 and in less than 2 weeks i have seen my balance greatly improve and am now starting to be able to get on the rear wheel (about 3 hops!) but at the end of the day my lower back aches quite a bit! im worried that this is old man syndrome as i am now 20! is it common as ive seen other members discussing aches? and i seem to be improving at a much faster rate than when i was younger maybe because the bike is smaller by comparison or im putting in more effort, what do people think? DOES AGE MATTER? and how old is too old? mike
