  1. Hehe just tested it with my old hot s (N) My bed has a square steel section frame with sharp sides. Just put some left over foam in an old 521 and hot with a tube and slammed it full pelt into it.. no pinch, then did it where there was no foam again propperly full pelt, bending the rim and gave it a pinch. Im gonna bring my hot s back from the dead!
  2. My bloxx went tripe pretty quick. Get some plazmatics or try a little tar.
  3. Put more in? Iv been using it for a day and it seems pretty fine.
  4. Yesterday I was playing with tyre pressures, I usualy have about 23.5psi in my tyres back and front and find this a great mix between not rimming/grip/bounce. Then I let out loads of air till I got to about 5-10psi. It was great for some trialsy hoppy hoppy and offered awesome grip, only problem was that it would rim like a hairy old man on ledges. I thought to my self, "if only my tyre was this bouncy all the time and then as soon as I landed a gap it wouldnt rim out" Then.. Idea! I remembered that I had a load of polyurathane pipe insulation foam [picture] left over from something or annother that I was doing a long time ago. So, cut it down the middle, got my wheel, took out the tube, cut the foam just short and popped it inside the tyre. Then put the tube back in and the tyre back on the rim. Pump her up to 10psi and away you go! It bounces and grips really well but you cant rim it out, its great! Dont worry weight weenies, it weighs 'nothing'. So get down to b&q and get yourself some, its only about 70p a meter I think or possibly less. Even if you dont like running really soft tyres you could still use it if you dont have good tyres (maxxis, mich (N) ) Anyway, thought youd like to know. Sam. lol (N)
  5. Yeah and why does he have to have his knob out? Anyone else noticed that he has a black strip over his hmmmm?
  6. Is there such a thing? Id very much like to know if there is. (Y) Sam
  7. 1 3 2 8 3 danie 4 harriet 5 jemima 6 dad 7 annabel 8 killing in the name of 9 thankyou 10 no cigar 11 mobscene Meh, didnt work for me.
  8. Yeah I know its crazy. If any of you know Southampton pretty well, if you go down Shirley Highstreet youl find about 10 12year old mothers at a time. Crazy chavs.
  9. Well I don't ride mod, I don't have an ENO and I haven't up graded from an ACS. BUT I can talk to you, engagement wise. I went from a 21ept Hope XC working on the 'same' sort principal as an ACS to a 72ept Chris King. At first I didn't notice a difference but as soon as I got back on to someone elses bike with a 21ept hub, the difference was tremendous. Its just nicer having more engagement there for you when you need them although it wont make your riding dramatically better over night. Id say go for it, and all the people I know that have ENOs are very pleased indeed with them. :)
  10. Serious about what? The price? Yeah the leeson frame will set you back a good 400 plus any extra bits you might like for it (leeson booster, leeson tensioner)
  11. I didnt pass a bad word about it?!!? Infact it awesome for the price and they ride very nice! If I had a spare 400 id probably get one. Onza arent bad at all, I have onza parts on my bike and and also very pleased with them. The guy simply just wanted to know whether a leeson or a t-pro would be nicer/better and IMO as the t-pro is now such a popular begginer bike due to the price/looks/parts it might be nicer for him to have something a little different. '9 year old kid' was merly an example of how many young begginers have them now. You might not be a 9 y.o kid yourself and nor am I. Perhapps I shouldnt be riding a planet-x because due to TF they are shit.. some snapped, and maybe all the beginers should go buy PXs? No. Meh, its late im off and that last paragraph was a bit of a blurb. Sam, not trying to give evils to anyone. If he gets a t-pro, fair play, thats nice I hope he likes it.
  12. They are both trials bikes.. One has 24" wheels and one has 20". The leeson will set you back more and youl have to select all your parts. Every little 9 year old kid has a bog standard t-pro on here so go get a lesbon.
  13. Yeah thanks for reminding. I read the thread after id replyed. Edit, now for a more formal reply; Ok for future reference, if your having any difficulty removing your cranks boil up a kettle of water and pour it all over the bb end. Under heat atoms vibrate and therefore make the metal expand making it easyer to remove the cranks. This works well for a lot of things such as stem bolts etc. I expect your pretty Peeed off that this has happened and id probably cry, but give super cycles a ring and see what they have to say. They might let you get a 2nd frame a little cheaper or something, but if they dont then see if you can get the BB shell re-tapped by a local engineer :( Sam
  14. Oh well, just looks like we'll have to all go and buy Leesons >_<
  15. Get down to B&Q, and get yourself a tap and die set (Y) Then you can tap all sorts of things, like golf balls :( >_<
  16. Moral of the story.. Buy a good bike. Actually, thats a little harsh and im not harsh, so in future remember to lube up yer crank toool >_<
  17. I said that in november... ^^^^^ I now say, ZOO! Risers all the way!!!
  18. Get the hole welded over >_<
