King rear hub in a Ronnie rim, High roller Hope XC in a Sun single track, half radial lace Burn's, ti bash, KMC Kool Race face bb FSA Orbit XL2 headset Maggie, Avid Juicy 7 Zoo! bars, echo stem All the usual other components... I think it needs some changes though. Not sure what!

The propper jobs will have been tested to cope with the high shear stresses. Normal bolts will do, but get some good quality stainless steel ones. Try a chandlery for quality bolts, not B&Q.

Yeah or not. Just give it a good service. Use a blend of Finishline Wet XC and WD40, you could also give the spring a little stretch, not too much though. My King is also pretty old (early 2004), it did skip a little while ago but the spring stretching sorted all that.

Myself and the_soon_to_ be went shopping today. We ended up coming home with fishing rods, floats and hooks. After working out how to get the line on the rod, we set off to the sea, got there and the tide was out. Great. Anyway, we were thinking what the hell do you do if you catch something? I'm not touching a slimey wiggling fish. Does anybody on here like to fish?
