  1. Its only noticably looser on some spokes when you turn the nips, not when you squeeze the spokes.
  2. If you dont live on the southcoast you might want to whack some anti-freeze in there too for the winter.
  3. Id love to come as I'm coming up to cambs to visit my auntie that weekend. Could take my bike but I think she lives quite a way from the station :P
  4. What a fu**ing c*ck! Get yourself a snapon breaker bar and 'break' him for that. :P
  5. Ok thanks guys its all bling now :P True in each and everyway within 1mm!! Yay my first wheel that I've built! Does it matter if some spokes are only slightly not as tensioned as others? (If that makes sense) Sam
  6. Ok, its kinda true, but how do I un egg it now lol?
  7. How the f**k do you true wheels? Its dished, and ist egged, just all over the place. and yes im using a pair of forks with pens and all that. Help me please Sam
  8. Hmm, actually yeah. Why bother? Il build it and if I dont like it I can drill it at a later date :) Means I can have a megga strong wheel again :P (Shitty echo died (Y) )
  9. Well im gonna go 11mm now. I just wanna do it so I can have drilled rims back and front (Y) When I drilled my 521 with 13mm holes I saved... 9 grams!!
  10. This is the way I grind, is it correct? Hold the grinder in left hand, handle in right, and left foot on wheel then drag the grinder round the rim to the right keeping the grinder at as much of a 90deg to the rim as possible. Right?
  11. ooo, how about two 10mm holes between each spoke? hmmm dunno actually
  12. It might be 31mm wide, BUT; I don't really want to drill into the suporting circle bits (you know what I mean). The top flat section is 11mm accross so I'm thinking 10 or 11, unless you recon it'll be safe to venture into the unknown? Sam
  13. Tried that, didnt work. My kit is too wide (Y)
  14. LETS SEE THIS FRICKING PIC THEN!!
  15. Yep, theres a baby over the way that is always crying.. Drum louder and it shuts it up  edit: oh yeah, get yourself some plugs. I use etymotic ones which are awesome, you can hear people talking clearly but when you start playing they cut in and dont muffle the drums, just turn them down. THESE ONES! They'll set you back about 15quid but worth it and last forever cause you can wash them.
  16. Highly-Flamable-Biking
  17. I've been playing 8 years, third house my kit has been in, and neighbors have never complained
  18. Ok, well soft plastic then.
  19. You know that about as useful as a chocolate tea pot. Like someone saying I've got a secret but I cant tell you. TELL!!
  20. Theres loads of industrial estate stuff in Emsworth and Havant but I had trouble searching for rubber there. (Y)
  21. I've looked and looked, searched and searched and googled and googled for places where I can buy some rubber.. Yes for pads. So where are all you pad boys getting it from ay? (Y) Sam
  22. Jesus lads, dont get all so batty over this emo stuff. Its not ripping them.
