  1. GT85, WD40, BikeSpray. Spray either one of those on your braking surface and then wipe the tar off with a rag. Simple :'( Dont worry about the oil, it will have all evaporated by the morning, trust me.

  4. PLEASE PLEASE stop using that!!!!!!! The Ally rims on my dads XC wore very thin after 10years of useage, then one day the pressure of the tyre just flipped the side of the breaking surface off whilst he was riding along!! Just POP and the whole tyre was off and the wheel rendered useless. Dont want that happening on something big!

  13. The spokes mark the hub, have a look next time you take a spoke out, youl see where it has been. To make it more understanderble why it voids the warrenty, I drew you a picture;
  14. The spokes will pull through the hub flanges easier. I'm running a half radial lace and its fine, but if I ever bust it I wont be getting it fixed cheaply by hope.

  18. you choose the right size of cycle for comfort and safety: im pretty comfy on my bike lights and reflectors are kept clean and in good working order: havnt got them tyres are in good condition and inflated to the pressure shown on the tyre: 15psi, ummm gears are working correctly: dont have them the chain is properly adjusted and oiled: finishline isnt oil, its synthetic lube the saddle and handlebars are adjusted to the correct height: havnt got a saddle, 40" on the bars You MUST ensure your brakes are efficient: you bet! at night, use lit front and rear lights and have an efficient red rear reflector: nirr
