IF your avid ever explodes (which it probably will after about 2 years) get an Avid Juicy Seven.. The have the same mounting and pads as a BB7. Mine has just as much bite/lock as my old bb7 and amazingly it NEVER glazes and stops working. Very lush bike btw!!! I love!

Personally, I think you may correct. My bike has 390mm chainstays and when I have a go on peoples bikes with shorter stays and try gaps I just end up with my feet right infront of me and my body hanging over the bars. I expect you'd be able to gap just as far one you got used to it though and then you woudn't like longer stays. Hans Rey for eg. can gap far even with his 400mm stays, but hes a lege :shifty:
