  1. No, I agree totaly with what Bongo is saying. I have given up riding basically. I ride when I can but that is not very often with my current busy lifestyle I have right now :P . My little break from riding really has given me a chance to take a step back and actually look at what I and other riders are doing and how silly we all are. As for the clothing of riders, I agree yeah, well LOOK, 3/4 pants and a gay t shirt. Gay gay gay. I wear propper clothes now, and do propper things. Trials kinda sucks I guess but hey, it was fun, and it still is when I do ride and I do have a lot of fun. I've got to know some great people, even if on rides they do dress like goons as do the rest of us. So in a way, trials rocks but also trials cocks.
  2. Well there are other things. How sad are we for being so concerned about what compound tyres we use, what components we use just to shave those few grams off, discussing what compound brake pads we use. How f**king sad!
  3. Through school and college I have been SLATED for riding trials by other riders (such as BMX, DH and Dirt riders). Is the same for you? I mean, I have nothing against all the above types of riding, as I've done a little of all. So why do us trial riders get ripped? I mean, trials is a bit gay really isn't it? I mean, what idiot finds it fun to bounce on the backwheel stationary and jump up walls? It must be so boring what? Even if you ride street trials as soon as you say "I ride trials" your destin for a good piss taking. Hmmn..
  4. Think about it.. Anyway, I'm no longer going to be running the calliper on the front of the forks, after some working out and thinking, I'm going to run my calliper upside down on the rear of the forks. Sorted.
  5. Money Issue, and I'd like to do them myself, gives me something to do and be proud of (Y) It's not as if I cant weld so I might as well do it.
  6. Sounds a good 'un. I'll let you know tomorow ;). I might try and get some off a mate for free like first ^_^ I'll PM you :)
  7. I can weld proppper ;) I have a certificate and everything (Y)
  8. Aren't they about £20 new though? (Y) £5+p&p seeing as there are no mounts and need re-spray ;) How have the mounts been removed, attacked with a grinder? edit: my bad, they are more than £20
  9. I went full on two wheels over a Squirrel's back when riding through the common. There's no way I didn't break its back but it ran off fast...
  10. Project front driveside disk mount is here. I have a pair of Pashley forks, a chunk of 6mm steel and a mig welder. It is time. How thick are the fork legs? I'm guessing around 2mm? I may try and get hold of a pair of TuffGuys and use them instead maybe. Might not be worth chuffing up my Pashs. So how thick are they as well, I'm guessing 2mm again. Sam edit: Yeah, just incase your wanting to be a knowall, I'll be runing the calliper on the front of the forks.
  11. marineware.com They only sell sheets, as in one layer. A meter square is around £20. I looked into it all a while back. They are pretty helpfull if you email them.
  12. You use Zippo lighter fluid ass. I have a can of it here and annother can of Swan lighter fluid, maybe two or three of them actually. I'll fill you up with my load.
  13. Beach whale. A dead one at that.

What the f**k man, just weld it up, it's not going to change the geo that much. It shouldnt change it at all really. Does it really matter if it's 1mm out? No. If you tack weld it all up first properly its not going to change when you start welding anyhow..
  15. High BB and a low stem would fire up the front, but why? BB rise sucks for a start. Just go and practice. I can lift up the front of my bike with 5kg sus forks on and a low BB. It's technique.
  16. Fred's on about the Red Funnel from Southampton. It's easier to go to Portsmouth and then get the Fast Cat, and cheaper and faster.
  17. Sam's gotten too good too quick and that whale is just wierd. Nice snaps an' all :P
  18. That would make me chunder. I remember squeezing a very small whitehead on my forehead not so long ago and the puss just kept coming and coming. Skank.
  19. Are those Coust Beta carbon forks still around or did they never actually get into full production?
  20. Yeah this is only a lock ring though mind :P. One tack would have been enough, then if need be you could grind it off and open up the freewheel if you ever needed to.
  21. I might, but I might not have my bike with me thoooo. Maybe, I'll see.
  22. Yep, Rich Ainsley can spin my Toxsin easier than his Leeson :P
  23. Yeah you want to be carefull with that.
  24. Long bikes with mtb bars and stems do ride horrid to be honest. You can ride street with any set up to be honest. To be honest. I say that too much to be honest.
