Cheers guys really helpfull. My Dad is insured with AA so will see if they can do some kind of reduction after time insured as a second driver. If then will have to change for Direct line. How do you find them?

Called Direct line today and they said that yes I do get NCB but its only available with them so I wont be able to use them with another company. Which is a pain. So your saying I should put my parents as a second driver? Thanks

Hi guys, I am going to buy a Volkswagen Polo 1.4 Tdi 2000 5Drs soon. But I can't seem to find a way to get insured without paying fortune. I did a quote on Comparethemarket.com which gave me a first quote at 2800 which I can't afford. So then though about getting insured as a second driver but I cant find any company that will give me NCB. So my question is is there a company that will give me NCB under second driver which I will be able to use everywhere? If not does that mean after 5 year of driving if I want to get a insurance of my own I will have to pay 2800? Is there any other solutions? Help is really appreciated as I am new to this. Thanks.

Not too sure bout koxx days. As car and insurance adds up to 5000 so will have quiet a dept so will have to find extra money for a bike. The other idea is if we met up then give you all a lift down to calais then take the ferry. And yeah should be there on sat if the hangover is gone.

Just need a bit of information and advice. Right so I should be passing my test soon which I already failed once. And I will be getting a polo 1.4 Tdi 2002 5doors could anyone tell me roughly how much the insurance will cost me, and what company to go for. Also when going to pick up the car is a test drive enough to tell if the car is in good cond? If not what should I do? Thanks for the help!
