Yeah golf only start with 1.8 engines so the cost of the insurance will be rather high. But you can get the polo with a 1.2 engine.

Would help if you put the name of the part next to the weight. And what brake are you planning on using? I would go for maggies if you want to loose a bit of extra weight.

I really wouldn't! Yeah they cheap and not a too bad brake for the front. But on the rear they just don't have that snappy feeling. If you have the money I would 100% go for double hope. With 2 hopes rotors. After they bed in. They are absolutly amazing. I know you didn't have a so good experience with them but let them another chance.
