I think the threads just mess up in the small red ball on the new style and there for when you pull the lever it just rips though the threads and tpa dont work.

Yeh me to my bike just cant stay the same well frame forks ect but little bits im always changing around and trying new stuff i just love messing with my bike...i do it quite alot..look for new cheap bits ect

You will need a mech hanger for the tensioner to bolt onto and you wil need allen keys to tighten it up

Yeh i got my 4 bolt bolts from ebay pretty cheap like £1.79 for 10 bolts
