yes but if you are bleeding in a sink i would empty the system

Just undo the bleed bolts and pull the lever and fluid will come out .....i would take the lever and calliipers of the cable and blow them though with a pump and abit of water in the lever

you wouldnt of used alot of fluid water bleeds the way to go but im not to sure if the avids have metal internals.
