Just loosen the chain of really slack spin the wheel see if you can hear the noise if you cant chain tensioner is your problem

Shimano bb is quite good and pretty cheap you will probally need 128mm if your running front freewheel Get cheap Bottom brackets here

I ripped foam grips apart in one ride i just use Fuji grips there great with or without gloves or echo rubbers are decent
