thetool in the link will not cut threads in a frame from scratch, it will only clean the thread up. and it will last a long time as long as cutting compound is used when in use, or a bit of oil :(

very simple no need to send it any where, you put tomuch oil in and the oils to thick. so take it apart, clean and degrease it needed then sprey with wd40(dont be shay with it) and put back together job done :(

martin still works in summit but he wont have his bike with him as he never rides much these days, but me and him may be able to ride friday 23rd as me and martin will be going up to the ymsa round on the sunday so we may ride the saturday to

yes what im trying to ask is-would a frame that is cheap and rides quite well out sell a frame thats supposed to ride extremly well as in a big name frame rather than say an onza

dave what the hell are you doing with wd40 near the front of the bike?

dont think that will fit a standard hub as it doesnt have the small spline

how heavy was it when drilled ? how much did you save ?

mod has smaller cogs so it sticks out less, and they usally have a bash plate so the chain doesntget touched. iv used loads of tensioner and have made some and i have found ones with out a spring kill chains and hubs.. oh well imo i dont think its any good for trials.

well all that force on ur hub and chain cant be good, as if the chains to tight it will f**k the bearings in the hub, not saying its not good it does look rather good, but just not for trials it would be ace on a jump bike where you dont land on the chain

so what happens when you land on the chain with the fresh one? does it just snap the tensioner off or bend it ?

well its just the same as if you make a side hop to 2 wheels and then put ur foot down you would still have a dab

i was going buy the fact that you could use a hope ti glide freewheel with an xc

rholoff single speed tensioner the best monay can buy, strong and lighter than an xtr mech :ermm: if you find a better one ll suck ur cock (not that thats gonn happen)
