  1. Don't get to carried away, that's jack messing about. It's f**king incredible what he does when he goes to his max. It's so kool that the uk has some one of his standard who will go onto to dominate trials for the next few years.
  2. I've heard water f**ks the 2011 levers ?
  3. Just get a refund, if you were self employeed this would have cost you a fortune
  4. Regarding cranks, it's not a case of fitting and forgetting, you need to check them before every ride and durring for the first couple of weeks. It's important to keep them tight but not to tight that you damage the splines. The material is softer when new and it takes time for it to work harden. If you keep them tight at first after a couple of weeks they will stay tight, but if you ride them slack you will damage the splines and they will be mis shaped and constantly creek.
  5. How cold was it ? Have you tried wd40? From memory the singlespeed hub has an alloy drive shell so I would check the splines for and slight dents or burrs. The stainless steel drive shells normaly sound a bit louder and crisper to. Altough I had a single speed for years it was faultless.
  6. You used to be able to get heavyer springs from chris king years ago. I know they useda few different springs over the years. Your best off chealning your hub and using some very light oil, no grease. You need to make sure the helical splined part is nice and clean and allowing the ring to move freely. When you say skipped you mean it missed half a pedal rotation or just made a bang?
  7. 1st half was a little boring but 2nd was really good, that location with the rocks looks pretty amazing.
  8. The new magura blood isn't to bad any more. It changed years ago now.
  9. You mean you think he's kool because he doesn't. ? Let me guess you don't wear one either. And if recent events on the news doesn't tempt you not to then that's your choice, but I'm not going to let you promote it to a load of young riders. WEAR YOUR HELMET.
  10. So why don't these street guys wear helmets? Isn't it kool ? Or why ??

Yes Ben totally agree, it's disapointing that you can't just have a view or opinion about some thing with out starting a pointless argument on here. Yes I found that riding boring, just my view on it. Like iv already said.
  12. IMO I strongly disagree. Spoke flex is a horrible feeling. Any move when the front wheels hooked over an edge becomes soggy and uncontroled. On the other hand with a magura it's held solidly with little flex which gives a more positive feeling. Hooks are harder with disc compared to rim brakes. It all depends on the type of riding you do. And you really are far better off trying both out and deciding for yourself rather than being told what's best here.

Did I blame Sean for any thing? Nope, Infanct I complimented his skills. Unlike yourself I'm open minded to any other riding types and will watch most. But I am also mainly in to trials this is why I am a member of trials forum and expect to find that Here. This particular video I found pretty boring and I'm perfectly intitled to my option on that. I didn't intend to insult any one or Sean.
  14. Try out a mates bike with front magura. Disc brake has alot more power than a magura. Magura has much less power, due the the method of mounting and location magura is more instantly on/off as its on the outer most area of the rim. The disc is near the centre and fixed to the hub so it stops the hub rotating but due to the spoke flex the outer part of the wheel still rotates slightly giving the sluggis feeling.

Yea it was kool riding and I can't do half of that stuff. Iv got respect for it and and how hard it is just like any sport. I was bored because we are at trials forum and I was expecting some trials.

    That was pretty boring.
  17. Yes split link you must be crazy. Join the chain with a chain tool and you won't have problems. You didn't snap the chain, you snapped the split link.
  18. Split link as in the one you don't use a tool ? Or always where you join it? Use a tool like the rohloff tool that peins the end of the pin/riviot
  19. Don't think you can because of the length of the forks and wheel dia, if you wanted to fit a rim brake then you would need new forks with v brake mounts or magura 4 bolt mounts.
  20. So what.. Face book is full of people you don't really know but are face book friend with, trials is a small sport it's nice to try and help it grow. Im pretty sure in friends with joe on fb to, should I feel special now ?
  21. Which grease did you use ? Is it compatible with rubber ? If not the rubber seals will swel up and eventually break down. You need to use the correct grease for rubber to avoid that. When you bleed it, Put the lever up level with the bleed screw at the highest point Push fluid from slaves until no bubbles Replace grub screw Remove syringe and replace bolt Then attach syringe at lever, you should now beable to fill the system fully by pushing the fluid in with syringe. That should push the piston out fully and be incontact with tpa plunger. Now minipulate the lever by moving the trapped air to the highest point (the bleed hole) and pump the lever to push out all air. Ideally hold the syringe up and tap the lines and lever to vibrate the air up and out
  22. Ok great news, but no need to tell the whole forum.
