  3. i did have a grind but its pretty much smooth now, as my rim doesnt hold a grind at all it would be kool to find a pad that works well on a smooth ish rim :ermm:

i pretty much never reply to vids threads but i was amazed but this vid, your bloody good considering how young and small you are, well done i expect this lil lad is gonna be one of the up and coming riders in years to come
  5. martin walker and i should be there  see you there
  6. 22-19 should be nice and if thats still to hard go for 20-18 thats more like 16-14 but bit lighter

    Hub Broke

i expect its because their is loads more stress on the hub shell because you have build it to a mtb rim, not the longer axle, the fact that the axels longer will allow it to flex more than a shoter axle :P
  8. that time was went it had new pads, as you saw me put them on, and then with that other rotor the pads just glazed, but with the original rotor back on and pads bedded in its really good :P
  9. 160mm marta kicks all of these into tuch bay a mile power wise ^_^ just dont use or ther rotors than the magura ones :)
  10. aberystwyth? i would on the saturday :$ be quick to sort it though then i can get the time off work :ermm:
  11. please say some one got all this on video :$
  12. the reason you would do 2x on the disc side is to get the wheel dished better as you dont want the dishing to be to near the disc side, that just saves playing with different spoke lengths :P

    Zoo Vid 30? <

its 2 different people on 2 different bikes you can tell on the firts 2 shots, starts off looking at a black onza type rim, then on the secound shot you can see the other rider in the shop with a red koxx typre rim. the guy wityh the red rim is doing the huge side hops left foot and the other rider is right foot :P

    [ A Sidehop! ]

just means he would tuck up better and land more like cls :P
  15. the main problem is when you land on the chain on say summit like a rail where its between the bash and tyre, then the chain gets streched and the hub gets damaged

yea the actual force of locking the brake will fatiuge the frame more x100(at a guess) but it will still contribute a small amount

i think this could contribute to fatigue as iv hear of a plane in the 1960's which was all aluminium and the resonace from flying fatigued the plain wings and body over a long time, they only found out when one of the plains crashed because of losing a wing, cant remember the name of the the plain though.
  19. just like pouring coke on ur rims, doesnt it cost quite a bit for a tin of it, personaly i would just use a grind
  20. i heard tart talking about this kinda thing at the ymsa comp, he was saying that hope have now changed the calliper, thats all i know
  21. so how much did all these parts cost, and also ur time to make it, if you would just have saved up the £50 and bought a rhollof you would be far better off (Y)
  22. since when has a rhollof tensioner been heavy, how heavy is ur modded tensioner?
  23. kot forks, thicker than urbans mine are great (Y) only£60
  24. hum.... the fresh one look :P no chance i would run one :- but thats just imo! iv just put a st maggy lever on bleed with water and it doesnt have any where near the power as my rb had, i think you should be playing with differnt piston sizes :P
