  1. so they do wrap around nice, but then they are to flat and pinch? ride smoother then or pay the extra cash
  2. just like an el gato then, sounds like your yet to find the best pressure, and for the homos who are complaining about the price, if bought a pair of tyres for my bike they would set me back 60quid
  3. how much room do you have between the left hand chain stay and left hand crank mark ?
  4. ok well after reading the thread and compareing the good-bad points im pretty sure if i rode mod i would be buying the try all i totally understand what you mean mark, ilove the way maxxis mtb tyres wrap around any thing they come into contact with so just buy the try all and love the extra weight and extra performance
  5. well i dont know much about them as i dont ride front freewheel so if the bash is only 4mm wide how can that make the freewheel rub on the frame, front freewheels iv seen have had loads or room between the frame bb so surly you dont need new cranks to run the bash, just a new bb if your unlucky edit i read a post by adam read a while ago, summit about the threads being stripped because of this, or is that a different problem
  6. wont the freewheel strip the threads if there is a bash taking up loads ? you can simply get a wider bb
  7. get a thicker rear tube, learn to be smoother i guess that mean the maxxis lighter ?
  8. get 2 mates and go over his house, explain to his rents and tell them you have got bailiifs to remove good to the value of what he owes you, then take his trials motor bike, im interested in buying one
  9. well if the mod tyres are any thing like the mtb tyres id get the maxxis every time why not get one maxxis and one try all tyre?
  10. do them up to about 40-45 nm's and make sure you keep checking them when they are new, as the aluminium will workharden when new is, this is the time when they need to be check. they then should be great, but try not to let them get lose while riding and you should be fine
  11. yea i got the normal 1'1/8 in mine just had to hammer it a bit harder than normal
  12. mine were ace didn waer out, managed to hit the end of the bars on stuff a few times and that ripped the ends and then they split, but that was totally my own fault
  13. i think 1065 is long but its the perfect length for an all round bike, longer bike are so much better for natural and you never carry and speed so no need to bunny hop or nout, but with street there is far more to ride so you want to be able to bunny hop and tap and so on you can still tap a short ish bike say the older ashton which was about 1030 wheel base but it was to short for natural, when it came to getting up steep rocks at slow speed
  14. you can get them from halfords who get them from nse. they are the same as the motor bike ones, theres just loads of them
  15. got worse for me when i hit that bloody cat on way home
