  2. so cant you just run the 12t cog on the crank and the 16 eno on the rear?
  3. lol we just need to ask wayne as i remember he tryed to snapp some but didnt manage to iv had these for 3 years ish
  4. as for people thinking the onza and pazzaz are the same i just had a look on the net, pazzaz are 252 grams and onza are 263 grams
  5. yea brass is stronger but still softer than steel, so the brass strips instead of the the steel, its also much better for making making bushes from as the brass bit runs again the blade when the lever is pulled
  6. its actually through the crabon, the grey bit is the alu incert
  7. they might look the same but they arnt super cycles got them made to a cheaper spec to be branded onza
  8. replace the brass barrel they are only a fiver
  9. they have plenty of scrapes and stuff but none like this ll get a pic
  10. onza bars are not the same as pazzaz
  11. i mangaed to smash mine into a rock today and it took a chunk out of my bars right near the stem, just wondered if they will snap if i use them?
  12. they look thin in the pic, mine are 2mm i dent know they only came in 2mm
  13. wales yea id ride if managed to get to wales depends on where but i could drive to meet you
  14. the mini will feel better almost like it has more 'snap' because its got a smaller rotor but it will take a later force to move the wheel with the bigger rotor the best way to explain this is in terms of car brakes, you would think if a car with normal rotor skids when trying to stop fast then if bigger discs are fitted the car will just skit sooner, but this is not the case the bigger disc sloow the car faster than the smaller disc and they stop it from skidding as soon when under hard braking
  15. --> QUOTE(joe b @ Mar 28 2006, 11:15 PM) ←How come you lot find them good. Monty ti spokes are shite. Dead brittle, so they just snap... Cheers, Joe. i used them on a rear wheel until i got a different frame and they were to short for a wide rim, as i used them on a mavic which has a smaller ERD than the flatter wide rims i now use them on the front the monty spokes on snap when they get lose, mainly cus of the way they go into the hub and when they get lose the hub flexs against the spoke head and snapps the spoke
  16. yes of course as you ride a maxxis, but i have plenty of experiences with that type of tyre, like when trials tyres or any products werent avilable to buy but its the fact that you have to debate every thing, theres just no need as i said before you either buy the better tyre or buy the worse tyre. at least you have a decent one availabe to buy, trials wasnt always like this
  17. what hub is it on? if its a hope style freehub that comes out them remove the freehub from the hub and get it in the vice, other than thatuse summit like a flat spanner to get inbehind the cassette and prize it off
  18. seem to me your the one who doesnt get it, and as for you saying a maxxis product is shit doesnt bother me at all but your making a mountain out of a mole hill here, either ride the cheaper tyres and dont moan about the ride, or buy the more expensive tyres and dont moan about the price. f**k safe go and ride your bike and stop debaiting every thing. and as for the sweet spot- elgato is is the same when it comes to off cambour it just launches you in one direction, but let the pressure down abit and they don't, infact they wrap round nice, like most tyres with paper side walls. but if you land hard they pinch simple as that i rode and el gato for years i know what im talking about here, managed not to pinch it that much(leaned to be smooth) i think thei topic has gone on long enough
  19. well to be honest the best wheel i ever had was a ck single speed hub built 3x with dt 2mm ti spokes on to a mavic 519 rim, never buckled it in 1.5 years, it was built by a friend of mine who been building wheel for 15 years so that probly helped, it was him how showed me the ti spokes only reason i changed rim was it was to narrow for new frame, god i loved my mrk 1 justice
  20. well i personaly have dt ones which are a bit more expensive 100 per wheel, mine have been exellent, such a nicer wheel as the give a lil more than steel ones, the only problem i had was when i changed rim/wheel some of the nipples had sizzed to the niples so it was hard to get them off with out snapping them from looking at the pic ypur spokes look rather thin, what are they 1.8/1.6? my ti spokes are 2mm plain gauge which seem to be a hell of a lot stronger

    Ribo Shoes

i thnik if they last 2 years then they are a good deal, depends how much nicer they are to ride in the thing that gets me is i a have quite a few pairs of trainners and i dont tent to wear the sameones every time i ride so it always feels strange if i wear a different pair from the last ride, and some are better than other but its hard to pic the best pair
  22. iv had ti spokes for about 3 years now mate
  23. could always apace the bb over a bit
