  1. was ok the bloody hill killed me had 5 first lap and ended up on 30 lol was good fun though so im happy
  2. id say try and keep active rather than sitting at home wainting for it to get better, if you have road bike gte out on that as much as you can, that way you will improve your fittness and you should heal up much quicker than just resting while keeping alot of the muscle strength. the fitter you are the fitter you recover from injury in most cases. maybe try going swiming and stuff just to keep the strength up. as when i f**ked my shoulder up when it was better my arm/shoulder were so weak and iv found it had to rebuild the strength back up good luck with healing up
  3. lol its easyer to remove w tyre with hands than tyre levers i fit and remove ust tuless tyres to tubless rims with my hands, almost impossible to use tyre levers on them with out damageing the bead bit so then they dont seal
  4. could be summit to do with the SR's wearing out faster than ST's who knows?
  5. ok well the only way you will get 6 cogs from an 8 speed cassette would be to use spacers from a 9 speed cassette which are 2.56mm wide so that a total of 23.6mm so if you helped develop the hub, how was it designed? for 8 speed spacing or 9 speed spacing and what shifter where you thinking in using ? try using spacers from a 9 speed cassette should fit on better pat
  6. cant be 6 cogs which are 1.8mm thick (8speed) =10.8mm and the spacers which are 3mmx5=15mm if using 8 and 9 spacing so thats 25.8mm? thats with 8 speed spacing so the gears wont all work with the 8speed shifter so you would need a 6 speed shifter, and lets say you use normal cog from an 8speed cassette which are 1.8mm thick so you need 6 of them thats 10.8mm and the spacers would be 3.5mm thick so thats 17.5mm add that and you get 28.3mm so what spacing do hope say to use?
  7. how deep is the freehub on the hope pro trials hub, i know it allows 6 gears, a 9 and 8 speed freehub is 35mm so whats the hope ? cheers dave

    New Koxx

fair play i dont know why every one slates koxx for being to expensive, just because the level boss 60 doallers each, that was probly materials, the amaount of engineering that goes into making any frame with all the cnc components is alot. and it takes a fair amount of time to design the frame and get the perfect geo. but not only that the tooling for the production line costs so much its unbeliveable as i should know as i am a tool maker, the smallest forming tools going cost so much. and im pretty sure the over heads for the factory are pretty high as well as paying staff. so all in all 400 quid for a frame is ok, unless of course you can make a better one your self in the garage with ur 300,00k cnc 5 plane machine and tig welder
  16. male sure you stop in carmarthen, to pick me up
  17. it does help if you go to the gym once a week and do a few reps as it helps to maintain the strength, and then when you ride you will develop the right muscles from the already strengthen base
